Achievements Need Updating

So we get what; 30 points of achievements for having ALL relics? I got 30 points for getting all the seasonal event items (eggs).

I think we deserve more than 30 points for something that will could/would cost millions of Gil and require a few months of grinding.

Achievement system is pointless and absurd if that's what you think our time is worth :(

You get:
50 points for 10000 Regional Levequests Completed!
50 points for 10000 Local Levequests Completed!
40 for the 5000.
30 for the 2000.
All of these are worth more or same as 7 relics.

The difference is you have no time limit to get relics

you are limited on seasonal events

I can understand some people not caring, but if you make a system that is just pointless in scale, what is the point in even having it if its technically useless?

Where are you getting your numbers from? None of those values you listed are correct for those levequest achievements.

Points are worthless and nothing but for epeen flexing. Lets worry about something a little more important like getting us some new speedos for the upcoming seasonal event!!!!!!

It would be nice though if they added some kind of reward for overall achievements like maybe a stat point or two for every 100 points. DC universe has a similar system and works great.

I think titles should have light stat buffs :|

Notorious Monster Hunter (my title of choice) should haveeee +2 str +2 vit ;D

I dare say the reward for getting the Relics is a lot more useful than the egg hats though.

Whine about the rewards, not the empty achievement points.

You have all the time to do relicts, seasonal events can only be doing once in a short time.

Achievement points are important, guys!!

Also technically you get /100/ points if you get all the relics. Remember that you get 10 (ten) shiny additions to your e-peen number that has no relevance on gameplay whatsoever for each relic you complete!

That's seven, times ten, is seventy! Plus thirty is one hundred! A whole hundred achievement points!

Math is important, kids!

Find me something that can be bought with achievement points, then just maybe I'll think about giving a shit.

We all play our games for our own reasons. To say that something in-game is pointless is just asinine. I received the same treatment when I opened a light-hearted thread about this very same subject.

I could just as well tell you that leveling BLM is pointless because I don't care about BLM. Just because you don't care about an aspect that IS IN THE GAME doesn't mean other people don't care about it.

They are already spending company resources to make this achievement point system, they might as well do it right. Getting a relic shouldn't be the same points as doing an 8 minute chocobo run or leveling your MRD to level 20.

Anyone know if you will be able to get the current seasonal achievements next year, since I would assume it's not possible to get any of them anymore before 2.0.
