They don't even bother with hrothgar. Call me genius, but I don't think that you can just take human-like hair and slap it on a beast race. They released hrothgar so the game covers whole spectrum of furries and scalies, but don't even bother making it work, hair doesn't even similar shine or texture as their fur, and there isn't even attempt at gradual switch from fur to hair. Just a minimal effort all around.

I just wish the Great Lengths it's less flat and more poofy at the top (which also applies to some other hair 'adjustment' they made for hroths).
But more hair option is something the race always deserved.

I mean, we already know they stepped back from their original intent, like, massively. We went from "this race will have exclusive hairstyles due to their head shape" to "this race will have no additional hairstyles at all whatsoever" to "you will have hairstyles, but no ears cuz coding is hard" to now where we just get modern human hairstyles like everybody else, even if 8/10 look objectively bad... the devs didn't bit more than they could chew, they tried to go full Kirby and choked.

All that said, at least they realized their mistake and are progressively making up for it.

I will agree on you but these are earnable hairstyles that you couldnt use on your Hroth. I dont think them finally fixing this shouldnt be a controversial take.

Ill huff the Copium that maybe in the future they could still do these unique hairs. But yeah who am I kidding at this point...
But, I can be happy to see more hair being added to the Hrothgar. With some hope: if they are working on more hair, ""perhaps"" they could get some Headgear working as well....but thats Copium for 7.0

Baby Steps.

I do think Short Hair looks Great on the Hrothgar. But Im still waiting to see some good Braids.

I know hroth and hroth enjoyers hated 6.1 because an appalling decision that should never have been "oh this looks passable and like we made an effort" approved but I dont think most hroth woukd care if they blanked out ears under hats like they do with about half the headpieces miqote can wear.
Viera NEED their ears tho because they have no other fantasy traits but like just let rabbit ears clip as badly out the top as they do the cryptlurker hoods its fine.

"B-b-but the clipping is not up to our standards!" as even Endwalker zones have ps2-era groundtextures and they let Aurahorns clip through everything AND let viera ears clip through certain (read: popular or cashshop) or hide the ears on certain pieces (for example the fat cat hoodie)

Actually, given how that hairstyle has a "pointy" backside there's a chance it would accomodate perfectly to the hunch. Normally a hairstyle like that isn't my cup of tea but I've been pleasantly surprised before so crossing my fingers.

I quite like this one, tbh! I even have it on my Hrothgar retainer at the moment. I think it makes them look younger as if they haven't let their mane/beard fully grow in yet. Ironic considering it looks absolutely cursed as all hell on almost everyone else.

The hair makes the best "young adult" look for Hrothgar. The other one is that one hairstyle...I forget what it's called, the one Zlatan has.

None of the non-Hrothgar exclusive hairstyles flatter their face at all; they're too neat and tidy which makes them look like they have no volume when they sit on a bulky lion head. As if the weird hunch was bad enough, if they didn't have those two glaring problems I would have fantasia'd to them.
