Naoki Yoshida at Japan Expo! (19/06/2012)

As he announced on the forums last month, FINAL FANTASY XIV producer/director Naoki Yoshida will be making an appearance at Japan Expo on Saturday, July 7th! In addition to conducting an on-stage presentation, he will also be treating fans to a special autograph-signing session. Don't miss this unique opportunity to meet Yoshi-P in person and discover more information regarding the future of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Lets hope that we get some goodies at this one. I think a presentation to the general public is more worth it than to try to go after jaded games press. and it is especially the right venue because people who like anime also like cat gurls.

Truth be told i don't think we're going to see anything new on 2.0. Maybe they'll show off Ifrit or something.

Well the new website is due to go live "soon" and that will have new 2.0 information. This would be a good opportunity to launch it, if it doesn't launch sooner.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about New info until august. The site will probably contain the same info that's available in the pdfs when it goes live.

With the concept art and all old info from the 1.0 teaser website since he did say it's more for new people rather than those currently playing.

Or a month later when they release the trailer, may as well at that point. Though since the website is mainly for people who don't play FFXIV or never have, they likely want to make all the old information better presentable, this is why I don't see the true excitement for it, since it will be nice to see something new in regards to XIV since it would feel like they are truly dedicated to it, it just won't be anything current players haven't seen before.
