SE Please, Bring back Noctis Car

Little ladies was an awful event that gave a dance that only has a use in ERP. It's been how many years now since last Re-run of Noct car :(

I'm down for the rerun in general but they could also just add the car back to the MGP vendor. Nier pod is there aswell permanently so why not.

Sounds like your mind is in the gutter, and perhaps pay more attention when the event returned in the past.

Given that there is now a 4 person airship for MGP, the car is likely to end up in the cash shop with the release of ff16.

Years? Only 1 1/2 year. The event was held in Sept. and Oct. 2021. I’d rather get something new. Also, I am not a fan of collaboration events. I prefer original FFXIV content.

First time for the crossover (April 2019) was about 10 weeks before the release of Shadowbringers.

Second time for the crossover (Sept 2021) was about 10 weeks before the release of Endwalker.

Maybe the third time will be about 10 weeks before the release of 7.0? The timing on the first two was probably coincidence but someone in SE might have picked up on it as amusing and decided to turn it into a recurring thing.

Hopefully there isn’t a third time and give us something new instead of recycling an event. This sort of thing rewards new players at the expense of veteran players. They should cash shop it so older players can get the rewards and do something new that would be inclusive of the whole player base.

I don’t understand why people support recycling events over and over. I do support rewards being available later though.

The FF 13 crossover event only got one rerun and it's stuff eventually ended up in the cash shop. I would imagine the 11 and 15 ones are getting the same treatment.

Event items should stay event items and I will die on that hill. Call me a gatekeeper, insecure or whatever, I dgaf.

recycling events can be good
FFXV,Yokai and Makai have good rewards and have game play incentives 2/3 ive mentioned also added new items too on return,
but when we get the same Iroha event 5 times with no new rewards(or even adjusting the set to be dyable)then its boring

hopefully FFXV gets one more rerun with some new stuff added like music
need Wanderlust added to the game

Last time I think they threw it out so people had something to do while waiting for the expansion. Alternative wouldn't be something new but just nothing at all because they're busy working on expansion stuff.

A recycled event doesn't take the place of a new event. A recycled event basically is just turning the old event back on, maybe tweak a thing or two. A new event has designs, story, rewards. I doubt rerunning an event is placed next to a new event in forms of "which should we do?"

The FFX outfits are slightly different as they were a fanfest thing, given to people as a part of purchase of the ticket... but like other fanfest rewards they were also dumped into the store.

It got two reruns! Original run was November 14 - December 9, 2013, and then the reruns were both in 2014: February 4 - Monday, February 24, 2014 and September 1 - September 10, 2014. The Shantotto one only received one rerun in the same year (both 2014) and the Iroha one has rerun multiple times since it debuted in 2015 at the release of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, same as the Dragon Quest one. If the gear isn't in the cash shop at the end of a third rerun (with Shantotto being the one exception thusfar with 2) then they'll keep rerunning it. I think FF13 and Shantotto only went into the cash shop because people asked for them there, so there's that.

I don't mind if they rerun stuff for new players. I actually wish they would have kept the Shantotto and FF13 events off the shop and just reran them more often for people to get that way. I don't mind the cash shop and it has a purpose, but events they're capable of rerunning with the same rewards should stay off tbh. I mean, with enough "hey when might you rerun this?" they'll see there's interest; that's how the Garo event came back.

I disagree. These events were made up because they were a nice thing to have and add a little bit of depth to the world. Since the feedback was that players wanted them to come back again instead of let’s do more of these then in this case satisfying the consumer and taking the easy way out aligned perfectly.

They want copy/paste. Let’s give ‘em copy paste. Win/win.

Why as a dev scratch your head and come up with new things when people just want the same things back again? It’s a no brainer.

Because it's functional content already built that some players won't have seen and costs them nothing to rerun? Seems pretty obvious.

Opportunity cost is what seems obvious to me. I’ve never seen SE run double events simultaneously. But I’d welcome that addition no problem.

They stagger them for 2 reasons:

- chance to miss

- sub money

if multiple events ran at the same time youd not only pay more attention to them and clear them in 1 go, youd also only need 1 month of sub. Staggering them out means you are more likely to miss one or have to resub for one or you could run into the issue of having to buy it later in the store (or "never" getting it with how rare some reruns are)

Yeah I figure the reasons could be something like that. Either way. I just wish veteran players were thought of as well when they do events. If they do a rerun they should toss something in it for us as well.

They should do it like WoW where new rewards are added to a seasonal event, old players have something new to farm, new players can work through getting all the old rewards but both sides play the same content so it feels alive

When they repeated that event last time I hoped that I could get a second Noctis glamour set, so that I can have some pieces for example in jetblack and pure white in my glamour dresser. So that I don't need to recolor with expensive dyes on one item the whole time. But redoing the event really gave nothing...
Not a second set, not anything new. Just nothing. And I don't want an event again, that I already saw 2 times and is going to give nothing. :c

Sometimes it's just like this, that we miss something. It's also not really fair what the legacy players get compared to everyone else. They just played at the 'right time' and have several advantages from it, like the tattoo, some different dialogs in the game and a cheaper subscription. For what? A 'thank you' for their game support? Meanwhile players with for example 1500+ subscription days get nothing for their long time game support. xD

We have to deal with such stuff. In my opinion this event shouldn't come back again and again. They should make new fresh stuff. : )
