For multiple lottery rotations evey available house has been resticted to fcs only and noone is bidding. They are juat sitting there unused. Any idea when they will be avaliable to private owners?

From what I'm aware only wards 1 through 9 as well as 25 are FC exclusive on all worlds except the ones on Dynamis on Materia datacenters, as well as Phantom, Sagittarius, Alpha, and Raiden (Those particular worlds don't have plots in wards 25-30 available for purchase yet).

Did you sleep through the past round when the houses from the auto demo wave went up for sale? Some personal houses on Goblin even made it through the round with 0 bids. I found 0 bid houses every housing district, not just Goblet.
As for FC only wards, those are limited to wards 1-6 and 25. I'm not saying that it can't happen, but don't count on SE shrinking that pool any further. -

A quick check in Mist alone comes up with about 40 plots open in the wards available to private buyers. Some of those houses are still unclaimed from the last entry period but some were also relinquished/demolished since and will be available for entries in the next lottery entry period that begins Friday morning. Make sure to look at the subdivision listings in addition to the main ward to see what's available then. -

housing is still terrible, i have been trying years and just lost my 9th bid against one other person. im so angry. the dev could at least make so if you don't win it automatically refunds you gil, instead you have to go to the plot and get that condensing message better luck next. there are tons of empty spots on fc only plots now. and still a bunch of wards owned by the same person. there was one plot on the entire server that had no bids. this makes me not even want to play anymore im so sick of it.

The rest of the sold plots are locked, share the exact same default housing skin and are not decorated outside at all (not even a Mini-Aetheryte) unless it's been hidden within the house skin. The FCs have between 1 and 9 members.
Even if all those plots were owned by active FCs with 9 members each, that would still only be a little over 200 players sharing the ward. The chances of running into another player would still be very small.
It's a mixed bag. Certainly an all FC ward has the potential to feel more alive but that does not mean it will be. It depends on what FCs have obtained houses there. If they're mostly large, active and social FCs then you're in luck. If they're mostly 1-2 player FCS, or FCs that log in to raid only, your ward is still going to end up dead.
That's why I'd love to see the wards become the portals to an improved instanced housing system. The more players that have reason to travel through the same area on a regular basis, the more chances there are for player interaction that would make the wards feel alive. We know the wards themselves are capable of holding a fairly large number of players concurrently thanks to some of the huge venue events. Imagine how lively wards would feel if even half that number could own housing within the same ward/subdivision instead of the current 30. -

But I never see anyone in my actual neighborhood. And the FC only wards are pretty much ghost towns for some reason. I’d expect them to be more lively!Quote:

And those owners only popped in to renew their submarines once every 2 days so you would be extremely lucky if you could catch a glimpse of them in the few seconds it take for each character to load into the ward before popping into their workshops.Quote:
