Please allow ALL items to be either used, sold, or destroyed.

I had noticed some time ago that a random lv.1 Death Scythe appeared in my Armoury Chest.

I have literally no use for this thing. I have no interest in using it or trying out the Reaper class. And yet, I cannot do a single thing to this item to rid myself of it, and it's seriously annoying.

I don't care that there's an armoire I could throw it in, because I will not forget that this thing is still in there. It will nag at me and bug the ever living crap out of me because it's an entirely and completely useless item to me.

I cannot sell it, I cannot trade it, I cannot desynthesis it, I cannot even simply just discard it. It's just there, existing... Uselessly for no reason whatsoever.

Please for the love of all that is good in the world, do not have items like this! Give us a way to get rid of it if we do not wish to use it.

That would be the item you payed real life money for.
It gets stored in the armour.
Go to an inn room and stick it in there.

They tend to not let you get rid of things that cost IRL money.

The Death Scythe is one of the items included with the (Digital) Collector's Edition of Endwalker. It can't be discarded to prevent players from discarding an item that can't be reobtained through other means.

So basically instead of giving just a minion and a mount, they also included a rather useless item that most people won't use, and the ones that will use said item will only do so for a short period of time?

And the ones who don't use it are stuck with this completely useless item because they bought the collectors edition...

Including mounts makes sense. Including minions makes sense. Even costumes would make sense... But one level 1 random weapon that one class uses and will only use for like, 5 minutes... That makes sense how, exactly?

It's a glamour item for the new RPR Job (glamour gear is all about the appearence it gives), it's not meant for stats but simply for the appearence it gives so you can use it to glamour over another weapon for that Job.

It's also from a past FF game (FFXI to be precise) which is also what the previous Collector's Editions since SB have given (SB gave the Chicken Knife from FFV for RDM, ShB gave Squall's Revolver gunblade from FFVIII for GNB), so this is likewise just more FF fanservice. If you don't like it just stick it in your chocobo saddblebag or retainers, as that is where you're meant to store stuff you have no need for.

Really this is just making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Calm down, it can't hurt you. Just put it in the armoire. No biggie.

It's a 50/50 issue to me, from my perspective of owning all the CE's and whatnot alongside having a maximum amount of characters per acc... Having the option to opt out of account wide items at times would be nice if you didn't want it on that character. Serves to declutter an alt over time.

Either way you cut it, the solution is either put it in the Armoire or go extreme and just delete the character if that item bothers you that much.

Just put it in the armoire and forget about it, like any sensible person would. If you can't forget about it - well, that is a you problem, not an item problem.

Not going to happen what you are requesting was already in the game before. SE put the restriction in place to prevent time wasted on rollbacks. Like others have pointed out stick it in your armoire or glamour dresser.

You did though, it was included.

Just put it in the armour, it's an unlimited storage space for all the items that, like that, people don't want.
It goes in there, it goes away, forever. Same as if you discarded it.
