Usually, they seem to have it but if it's just one or two by themselves I like to drop down and help them finish it a little faster. Though is that right or am I ruining the experience for them?

Help is usually welcome, I don't think anyone's going to complain about that.
Although be smart about how you're helping I guess. Like a lot of times if I'm fate farming in EW on my own I'll just be playing WAR, usually hanging out around the spawn points for the monsters in the FATE. If someone showed up and started dragging them all over the place so I couldn't aoe them down at the spawn point then I'd get a tiny, tiny bit annoyed. I won't say anything of course, but at that point you wouldn't really be helping.
Better to group with them so they can get good credit.
Only if looks like they won't finish it before time runs out or they are dying to fast in it.
It's common for people to die to the fates below level 50 in particular because they are sprouts, they have limited abilities and don't know basic things like chocobo companions, so they actually die to them a lot. It's fun to just go and save them.
If on my All Capped Main.., if I'm grinding for something, or if I want to..,
Turning to healer and healing somehow feels off, unless they dead and the fate is still going..,
I mostly see random doing fates if it's a grindable zone, like the Shb Relic Grinds, or the Gemstone Zones.
And if I'm grinding for gems and they don't accept inv, I just ignore them and do my thing.
When on my low level alts, it's nice to see other low levels and work together..,
[otherwise, it's only if they have the time to help that I see high levels]
TLDR: if it doesn't seem like ilk bother them in anyway, I will.
FATEs are for anyone to participate in, and everyone gets full experience and rewards if they earn a gold rating. You're not ruining anything by participating, and by helping you're making things go faster so they can move onto the next FATE.
Sometimes, usually with heals.
I do, especially when I remember those a-hole NMs that gave me nothing but hell as a sprout. *eyes The Bigger They Are fate*
If I'm already like, on the ground, I'll switch to sage if I'm not already sage and hit them with a E. Diagnosis and continue on my way. The shield is big enough at those low levels to usually last them through the rest of the FATE.
lol never. That's their problem.
Yeah, if I see them struggling. I like to come in as Big Mama Tank to get aggro off of them if they are a DPS or Healer. :o
Kinda depends on if they seem to be facerolling it. If it's obvious the FATE scaling is working in their favor, I'll leave them to it. If it looks like the FATE is scaled to noticeably more players than are presently engaging with it or the participants are just really struggling, I'll typically drop in to help.
Heavensward FATEs also drop items required for a step for the Shadowbringers relic, so it's not uncommon to see high level players doing FATEs for that step.
Usually I dont. I have a habit of swapping to BLU and demolishing everything lol. So unless I fly by and seeing people dying left and right-- usually no XD
Depends on the reason I'm in the area at the time. If it's something pressing timewise no. Otherwise I generally do. I've also stopped and flattened A and S rank hunt mobs in early zones that spawned in areas low level players are trying to quest at. The A ranks usually get dropped so fast ppl don't notice it was there to begin with. There has been some butthurt over solo killing a couple S ranks.
I miss leveling from 30-50 in fates
depends, I'll hang around for a few seconds if they're doing fine I'll move on if not. I'll switch to an healer and help a bit, not a fan of overwhelmingly helping. you know, teach a man to fish or whatever...
If they need a little help, or are getting low on health, I'll help them out, when I actually look down. I don't 'go looking for someone to help', but if a good candidate appears in front of me, sure!
I help them, yes.
Especially, if they need healings.
When I go level my chocobo in an alt through fates, I love when somebody comes along to help :)
So, "do to others what you wanna them do to you" is a real rule here.
Always...but in a way that helps them get gold. If I'm a healer I will just keep them healthy, if a tank i will just provoke extra aggro off them. Once I feel they will get gold...then I stop being passive and will aim to finish it as fast as possible.
Really depends on the situation.
If someone is struggling with the FATE and I'm not on my way to anything other than a regular gathering node, I am more likely to stop and help. Even if it's just by healing them while they fight.
If the FATE is almost over and they need a bit more power to finish it, might stop and help.
If they aren't struggling at all, or I am preoccupied with other things, probably won't stop.
Nope. Fates scale so if someone is struggling they don't need my help, they need to learn. After enough deaths they will start to question whether their gear could be upgraded or if they need to use stuns or if they should maybe pull less.
