Arkasodara daily quests in Thavnair.
It's a great way to level alt jobs if you're not in a hurry. I've been doing MSQ roulette + Tribal dailies + hunt bill dailies as my main leveling routine for 5 years now. I find it a lot more enjoyable than dungeon grinding.
Also, don't forget the Pixie dailies. That's another 1 million XP for another 5-6 minutes of effort even post 80.
They're roughly 40% per day, regardless of how close to 90 ya are. It adds up quick, I don't recall the combat beast tribes ever giving so much EXP per day, it's awesome.
It's because we used to get two beast tribes that involved fighting and when they made split crafting and gathering into separate tribes, they had to double the exp of the one you did fighting with. It also increases even more once you are max rank.
I always got a lot from the beast tribes, even when I used to do them in Heavensward. It's not new that they are a fast way to level and daily hunt bills were always about as good then. Both are good on a DPS while waiting in a queue.
Imagine just now discovering that current endgame beast tribe dailies can do this.
You're quite the expert in that, aren't you? I suppose you would know.
I'm just pointing out that this isn't exactly a new discovery. It's been out for half a year, but the concept of doing beast tribes for experience has existed before I even started playing this game. I'm happy they found it and that they enjoy it or whatever, but what else am I supposed to do? Clap for them, pat them on the back for their non-discovery?
This is a great "find" if you can barely play, because you can level "over time" but if you plan on leveling at a steady or rapid pace, this does literally nothing, glad you found it though if it fits your playstyle
"This is a great "find" if you can barely play, because you can level "over time" but if you plan on leveling at a steady or rapid pace, this does literally nothing, glad you found it though if it fits your playstyle"
This is very passive aggressive. Way to continue to contribute that toxicity with this community.
I would love to know how that's toxic to simply say that it's not very useful if you want to level at a steady pace, and that it doesnt do much if you play every day multiple hours as it doesnt have that big of an impact, and that it's good for them if its their playstyle ? I really dont understand how this is toxic or passive agressive ?
Wow, do I have to continue to shove this comment you made? The end of what you said sealed it "glad you found it though if it fits your playstyle".
Come now, lets not kid ourselves, this was a sarcastic comment true and true. If you actually meant what you're debating you would've said "This isnt wholefully efficient if you're just relying on those dailies" But you just had to saracastically say "this is a great find". You even quote that term there "find" to highlight that passive tone and then downplay it into "this does literally nothing", which isnt true since its still big exp gain chunks.
Anyway if you really wanted to say what you mean, just literally say "You can add in these quests with your daily roulettes if you want to be more efficient with your exp gain." F-Minus, see me after class
When I was leveling my jobs to 90 after EW came out, I was still doing ShB dailies to get some easy exp on my own time (can't always be in queue for dungeons). Fairy dailies were worth about 1M/day for, like the OP said, 6 minutes of work. Another 10 minutes gets you another 1M from doing ShB daily marks. That's not bad when leveling SGE or RPR and they are in that 70-80 range, but 2M exp for non-queue-related content still adds up overtime. Couple that with the EW daily marks, and that gets you about 5M/day.
And that was before the EW tribe quests were out. 5M/day for a job you want to level for completion's sake is pretty nice. Toss in the exp bonus for WT and that's 5M/day plus 50% of a level/week.
Used this a lot to give me an extra level or an extra push after dungeon spamming. I remember doing Aitiascope only one time for 89-90. 99% of the time I just did these dailies for a couple days or so on that Job. Did the same for Pixies.
Yes! Beast tribe dailies are great for leveling up those alt classes along with Hunt marks and at least MSQ roulette each day. And don't forget the previous expansion's beast tribe quests because they are still worth doing for that extra bump when you're still lower in a level tier. Also don't forget your challenge log (the 10 guildhests are quick and can give a decent amount) and WT.
Elephants are awesome for leveling. I've got all my classes leveled on my main and alts (except for crafting which will come with the next tribe). Shame one has to finish EW for Elephants that wasn't the case for Pixies.
Thanks so much OP! I really appreciate the post.
Even as someone who did the Fae ShadowBringers quests for XP, it didn't dawn on me to unlock the Endwalker ones. I'm almost done levelling the 9 classes I like to 90 (have 8 of 9, with last in the 80s), but I started the unlock chain for future levelling!
I use beast tribes+ frontlines (switching to favoured job once inside, getting xp on the other) +turning in WT book to level up jobs I don’t really want to play.
I got the mount and forgot about this aspect of them. Good looking out homie!
The tribal quests are some of the best ways to help those alt classes level. At least for the current and previous expansion worth for the level range you are trying to level. Sure the previous expansion isn't the best, but when leveling a DPS and waiting on a queue...they take up some of the wait time.
You're correct that it's not much help for the rapid content consumers that want all their jobs at max level yesterday even though they won't touch those jobs the rest of the expansion except to update the gear sets.
But it's fine for those who are trying to level at a steady pace. I prefer to level alt jobs at a steady pace. I've got everything to 90 except NIN (and BLU of course) because I've been doing it at a steady pace and NIN will be at 90 sometime next week.
Wait...people update gearsets for jobs they don't play? I personally only update the ones for the 5 jobs that I play(DNC, GNB, SGE, SMN, and RPR). Sure, those could help me update the ones that share gear with them, but that's not something I worry about until I either need the gear to work on relics, or the expansion is almost over and I want to be able to just jump into leveling things right away
