Does anyone else feel...

Like tank classes need more full faced helms. Everything is a circlet, technically they are more like headbands since they don't "circle" your head.

I think so, just sayin'. Why would you leave your whole face and head exposed if you are the one drawing all the ire from your enemies.

No, but I feel that there are too many troll posts in the last 24 hours.

FF14 doesn't really tell us how armor works in the world. Most of a tank's survivability comes from using abilities or magic if gameplay is taken to be a meaningful representation of combat. Being totally encased in armor just doesn't seem important, especially when tanks are regularly deflecting giant energy beams or building sized swords.

I'd like some more circlets, crowns, etc.. for all classes really, but I do like them for tanks too. I'd have a lot more ideas if I could do art.

Having your face covered isn't very heroic.

Some of the best heroes have their face covered by helmets.

Have you checked out the Wolves Den? I believe the man on the right when you go inside the ship, I can't remember his name, but he sells a bunch of clothes from older expansion pvp gear sets and there are a lot of animalistic heads. I believe there is a bird, wolf, lion, etc. The only downside is they are class/job specific but you can still find a few goodies. Some of them do look barbarian.

Goblin Slayer. Its an anime about... well slaying goblins. I don't want to say too much more without spoiling it. It does have a lot of XIV feels to it at times.

You can thank the furries and the "haha horny bunny" players for this. They screached really hard about not getting helmets on their incomplete races and now we all just aren't allowed to have headgear that's not a hairpin, a circlet, or some entirely pointless face ornament.

Hmm.. more dresses would be nice too! You could make some nicely themed healer sets with some lightly armored bits as well, though!

There is one crown I really want, the one from the second boss of the latest dungeon, I'll have to make a thread on that or something though. That would be a really nice all class piece.
