Can I assume you talked to the Ranked NPC near the Wolves' Den Ship entry?
Quote:
When the season ends, the top one hundred players from each data center will receive conflict chits via the moogle delivery service. These vouchers can be exchanged for rewards by speaking with the Seasonal Quartermaster at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:5.7).
* The number of rewards distributed may differ between data centers in the event that multiple players have the same ranking.
* Upon using a rank- or tier-based framer's kit, you will unlock the portrait elements exclusive to that kit, as well as all portrait elements included in the kits for lower ranks or tiers.
So you're saying that unless I'm top 100, in the entire data center, I won't get rewards for hitting a rank?
How is anyone supposed to get rewards beyond crystal if that is the case?
Sounds like a pretty chit system but at this point, I'm not really surprised.
Literally the guy that gives top rewards also gives your ranked tier reward.
Only top 100 get voucher in mail to turn in for separate reward, everyone can talk to the NPC to get the regular reward based on tier.
Let's verify: who is the npc i need to talk to again? Seasonal Quartermaster <<Conflict Chit Exchange>> ?
Cause he says "I am afraid there is no reward for pups that fail to attain at least bronze tier."
Meanwhile last season:

I legit want my boarder. So where do I get it?
Did you try all the options on the NPC that stands by the PvP team sign in front of the boat in Wolves Den? One of the options is for top 100 claim and 2nd is for the bracket placement.
I'm just going to say it, because it needs to be said. The ff14 developers inspire me in my own career to be a good dev.
Because while on a technical level, they're pretty good with their chops, on the conceptualizing of systems and execution on ideas, they're woefully needing improvement; and the latter is just as important as the first.
It's 2023, how are things like "expiring reward systems", janky UI interractions, janky system interractions, etc still a thing?
Seriously, just the idea of having to talk to a merchant, for a certain window of time, after already achieving a reward, to even get that reward, is a real head scratcher.
You should have been able to claim season 4 rewards the moment season 5 started. Did you play ranked CC matches last season or was the rank carried from a previous placement for example from season 3? Because to me it sounds that you are trying to claim a placement from a past season that can't be claimed anymore
1st November 2022 -> 10th January 2023,40.570.5 days when taking maintenance into account.
I'm sorry for your loss man, I now get what your Plats are since you've posted that thread, but not only did you have over two months of time to collect it, you also generally get reminded on every new patch that a new season starts.
I'm more annoyed at the fact that the systems are pants on head quality. Like I said, square devs seem to be good at their technical chops, but devising a system that expires with rewards, can't be claimed in the same season, and must be awarded through an NPC is literally just a hallmark of poor development oversight.
Might catch me some flak but I'll call them out on it. It's a bad system, poorly thought out, and poorly implemented. You ever know those people who are really smart, but can't figure some simple stuff out? Yeah.
This happened to me as well during my first rime in Feast. The game gives no information or instruction whatsoever. I grinded for so many hours and made it to Diamond Wolf and when the seaaon ended I took a break from the game, satisfied with my progress. When I camt back I did not get rewarded my title or qolf collars because I didnt log in to speak to the chit NPC. After that, I never did Feast again lol.
Yeah that's basically what happened to me too. Hit triple plat, took a break because I wanted to focus on work skills and studying, came back, shafted. Bad, bad system.
It's whatever. I enjoy pvp so I'll probably grind one more character up again. Maybe I'll just go all the way to crystal, but honestly the plat border looks the best by far imo.
