FFXIV Online Shop

So, I understand why they changed the shop. To prevent people from trying to scam people out of their money by buying a gift code then upping the price. At least that's what I assume. I just want to know why exactly this was implemented.

We don't have a comunity management person to answer questions.

Even then, they couldn't say, for "security" even if we DID have one.


If you really want to know, make a new account, in japanese, and ask on that form. You can't use this one, you've already posted in english, your an unperson.

Folks get BANNED from the forums when they have posted in english before, and then try to make ANY topic on the JP forum.
They are not treated as real people, they are unpersons.

You make it sound like no one else acts that way. :rolleyes:

I think they were forced to react to the amount of fraudulent activity happening that was getting them into trouble to a degree that could have blacklisted SE from payment gateways and prevented them from operating as a business.

Uh huh... Of course the posts got deleted for being the wrong language on the JP language section... Thats happened on the eng discussion boards too.



No ones getting banned for attempting to post a JP topic on a JP board.

the question is, was it in jp language or English. always best to ask that, before making conclusions

They're agreeing with you and just adding on, because it's unfortunately not actually a given, as much as rational people might think so.

Source: The sheer amount of people last year complaining in EN forums that their JP post was removed, and then having JP people post here in perfectly understandable english explaining that their post was illegibly translated gibberish
