Spoilers ahead: Now that you’ve met (some) deities, are you happy with your choice?

Title!

Despite not being done meeting all of them just yet, curiosity gets the better of me, so for those of you that chose the others, please refer to this thread in the future.

As for those that chose a deity already presented in game, how do you feel about your choice?

Personally when seeing Menphina in the trailer, I was disappointed due to how young and rather creepy she looked, at least to me.
After seeing her now for a longer time, I changed my mind and am quite happy having chosen her; I don’t see myself changing deities if chance arrives in the future. She’s quite sweet.
The fluffy wolf was a big influence on this decision as well :3.

Despite this, I prefer the deities from Aglaia far far more, cant really put my finger on to why, the only thing I can think of is that the deities from Euphrosyne remind me of f2p korean mmos instead of final fantasy, something about the design as a whole just doesn’t sit right with me, the faces, the style, pretty much everything about it seems really different and rushed/cheapened out.

Ill come back to this when I think better about it, I’ve only just finished the alliance.

I'm pretty good with my choice. Thal's Balls has been 10 years in the making and it did not disappoint.

I am fine with Nymeia.

She is wearing ja hood, she is cool.


Just wish every deity would get a minion and a Triple Triad card. Seems kind of unfair.

Before we saw the trailer and got to the fight I was surprised that mine showed up cause she was bored or whatever? I also love that she has an enrage of sorts if you chose to just wail on her brother. And yes my Deity was Nymeia. Not sure how I feel about her red eyes though. At least she didn't turn into a meerkat like Azymea.

I chose Azymea. Isn't she the real WoL?

I like moon, I like doggo, and my Lalafell has this "Foxy under moonlight" looking. Menphina is Goddess of the Moon and the Lover, and has this youthful adorable energy so I'm happy with my choice.

I think they think Azeyma is Azem. But Azem isn't the real WoL either. 1.0 characters are. Azem is the the un-sundered soul of the WoL.

So yeah, I'm happy with her lmao.

I won't completely jump off my new deity's train (Llymlaen) yet, but Althyk seems insanely tempting.

I'm happy with Halone. I'm just upset she wasn't the last boss. I'm actually pretty happy with all the bosses except for Menphina, I think she looks too young, and yes... very creepy. My main's god is Oshon and I'm 3 seconds away from picking up Deryk and shaking him.

all her moves are perfectly telegraphed by visual tell.
in fact, the visual tells are very good in this raid.

Halone's fight is definitely the star of the new Alliance raid.

from the people in my discord, Halone is pretty unanimously the favorite, with 2 after and 4/1 interchangeable.

Eh, I dedicated my character to Rhalgar because it seemed like the most appropriate choice for a Monk. I ended up not maining Monk in the end, but it's still part of his backstory, and I don't believe in changing things like that on a whim.

It's not gonna stop him from doing a bit of 'worshiping' the Twins on the side, though, if they're interested.

I can't help but think Menphina is adored by the dev team. She really got a lot of attention in terms of story and personality. Even though I am not a fan of her child-like form, what we learn about the twelve this round has it make a little more sense. Knowing what I know now, I would choose her again given the opportunity.

Rhalgr, and yep, because a WHM is at its best when you're beating things to death with a hammer.

There is so much happiness seeing your deity being a fun and lovable plus being the final boss of Aglaia PLUS with an amazing song

Un-sundered soul of the warrior of light is the one Venat was talking about when she retired and left the job to her. Remember Venat said she turned a vulcano into a fire primal and defeated it? If that is the case Azem is the 1st no 2nd warrior of light after the 1st warrior of light Venat. Don't forget of the the members of the councel chose this Azem because she was the best fighter of them all.

I chose Oschon cuz he seemed the most appropriate deity for adventurers, cuz you know, nomadic lifestyle and all that, but I am disrespectfully looking at Byregot now.

I completely forgot who my patron deity was until I fanta'd. Turns out it's Azeyma so, fiery redhead? Yes plz.

Mine hasn't shown up yet. Saving the best for last.

You do know Azem is a title and that there's been an Azem for as long as there's been a convocation. Venat no matter how much I like her wasn't the first one. She took over that spot some time after the Azem before her stepped down.

With my character being a Keeper of the Moon, I kind of expected something different out of Menphina...

Seeing as the gods are shaped by the beliefs of their followers, the worshippers of Menphina are either way more wholesome or wayyyyy more degenerate than I thought they would be.

Team Nophica, team Gridania, huge tracts of land, for the win.

I'm super happy with Menphina. I honestly thought she would have a more mature look but I was in no way disappointed.

Even so at the time, my Azem, was the best fighter of all the high ranking people of the times and that's why Vanet chose her. Rated best fighter of them all beats Team Nophica for the win. :)

Wish Halone was more ice themed in design, but I don't think she was ever described like that so I can't really be disappointed.
