Making a thread like this as if it's some sort of accomplishment implies that. Especially when, like I said, we've been clearing on release day without third party tools for a decade. You being offended over someone using a plugin or some RPer having a cute dress mod that doesn't impact your gameplay in the slightest says a lot more about you than them. Jussayin

The new 24man was so difficult I almost cried.

Thrid-Party tools must live so rent-free in your head that you're internal voice sounds like Cacbot.

What? I still used 3rd party tools to clear.
My group could not have done it without the use of one.
It just gets to difficult to solve p8sp2 HC2 without it.
Everything gets easier when everyone uses it, because we can simply talk about where we move.

Voice chat is just to strong of a tool.

Imagine being so petty that your enjoyment depends on 3rd Party tools not working. Certain 3rd Party tools and assets exist to assist impaired people (colourblindness for instance) and various quality of life additions (like visible damage typing and partylist buff durations) have been added in response to reduce our dependency on 3rd party tools.

But of course the bad bad parsers and enjoyment-sucking plugins from the hypothetical people playing the game without pressing a button that you can't see to begin with are all that matter to you.

Seriously, go touch grass.

Gil sellers are back as well now. 6.3 made the game popular again

They never left. It's a curse of being a popular game, even during content lulls.

Imagine being so ignorant to don't know that is easier to alterate the game with CE and in worse ways than use a mod to increase the size of buffs or debuffs 0.25% so people with certain disabilities can play better.

And then imagine being a person who enjoy living in a small world of knowledge regarding third party tools and don't thinking out of it to understand that the colorblind was added because of Reshade, that the change to the keybinds that some of them where unable to change (back in ARR and HV) so people left handed that use the numpad to play were unable to bind the 0 and intro to another key, and had to use a third party software for it.

And all of the last QoL changes, are made in some part because of this third party tools that with such pity this person that live in such small knowledge hate them.

I really don't understand the point of this thread outside of OP getting their rocks off from plugins being down. You can hide it under a fake congratulations if you want but I feel like this thread wouldn't exist if OP wasn't either jealous/angry over plugin use by others or feel some sort of superiority over those that do.

Either way, weird choice of a thread/flex.

This is also accurate. The new buff timers were ripped directly out of a popular plugin (really hoping they paid the person who originally made it since it's literally a copy).

So, OP should really be saying thank you to plugin users & creators for helping to make the vanilla game that they enjoy even better.

Some people are going to take this joke seriously and actually advocate for banning discord from the game. We have memed too much.

We can meme as much as we want about it.
I would say that even the devs use some kind of tool for vocal communication during fight testing.

Hell, even during Lan-partys we used ts when we wanted to focus because we want to only hear our own in-game sound.

I mean, they're mostly used in higher end content (which a new dungeon, a new 24 person raid, and an EX really aren't)

The question in my mind about this is has this person thought about that this post could reach their static members? Are they using a different discord account to post in this server? Is their static using discord at all? Or are they just hoping that no one from their static notices. If they are trying to keep it a secret, how do they know no one else is using cactbot in their static and frequents that server?

I mean OP was fairly unhinged in the "Please add parsers to the game" thread, no surprises here that they're this unhinged/petty. Imagine being so ridiculously petty and small that your enjoyment comes from mods not working. Actually don't imagine that, I don't think I or anyone else wants to imagine that sad of an existence.

Alternatively, OP is a troll, which I'm inclined to believe based on past posts in various threads.

Why do people care so much if others use cactbot? Its not like the EX fights are remotely difficult.

hate to burst your bubble but the vast majority of 3rd party tools were back up and running within 2 hours after patch, and private tools were back in 1 hour, dalamud takes longer though if that's what your getting at and the reaction library gets updated after a day and after world 1st for major raids

also, if you used a monitor or keyboard or even a game pad then you used a 3rd party tool ;P
