Why such a long period of System Maintenance (Jun. 13)?

Can anyone explain/speculate on this?

Seems to be a long one.

its always that long when its the account system, thats why

Hopefully the new website will be up tomorrow...

May be linking our accounts and payment methods and characters to 2.0's servers...maintenance is on the "Square Enix Account Management System," and it didn't take 10 hours when they added new payment options.

Do we happen to have any idea of the ETA on this? I don't see anything on their maintenance forums. :(

Longest account management maintenance hovered around 7.5 hours, add in EU transfers to ragnarok that are still ongoing and it can easily reach 10hours♪

So bored the first time I want to play in a while and there is maintenance going on @@!!

Agreed. I really really wanted to play and it just had to be overly long maintenance. Please let it be for some major release, like the stuff they didn't show at E3! That would be nice.

I decided I would clean my email while I wait for the servers to come back up when I ran into this little goofy website I thought it was really cute lol if your bored you should Punish Derrick too. :P'
