Mob exstinction

I think it would be really funny that when dalamund hits, it would be very funny if in 2.0 dodos or raptors became a thing of the past.

XI did it so I don't see why not, they did say it'll bring about new mobs and maybe changes to old ones.

Please destroy Dodo's and Billy-goats, as I have been killing them relentlessly for months and they still keep coming back.

Clearly they are breeding too fast and need domesticating. Either that or we need to poison their water supply.

I'd also wipe out anything rat/mole-like, and knock out those packs of raptors on the way to Iron Lake.

Sometimes I wonder what they all eat.

Dodos should go the way of the...dodo. Not that I dislike them or anything, but it'd be quite amusing.

have a museum in one of the towns with Brass/Copper Statues of the extinct mobs, and throw something funny and bemusing on the base plate that characters can interact with.

actually this would be awesome. BUT even better, they should have an island where dodos STILL exist haha. and maybe have a baffled explorer character trying to convince his colleagues that dodos are still around. would make for a funny series of sidequests lol

Why are people so against Dodos? I quite like them thank you very much. You should get rid of the raptors since EXP party people can't grasp the idea of NOT attacking them from behind or the front.

I'd like it yeah. Maybe make it so a few years down the line they add a really rare NM of that species (Similar to the Almighty Apkallu in XI) and make it have some vanity item similar to the Coeurl's eye.

However I do like the idea of walking through Thanalan and passing the fossilised remains of a lalafell in some cliff face, perhaps inside a big (well let's be honest not that big) cooking pot.

Dodos could mutate into those axebeak looking things from the concept art pics we had to uncover over the course of those 3 days.

I got a whole list of creatures I'd like to kill off: Dodos, Lalafells, and more dodos and lalafells.


Oh and did I mention lalafells? Yeah, kill them off too.

miqote aside, don't the grand company levequests mention a joint effort in eradicating Eorzea's burbles? i hope it doesn't happen ;-; i want more mabs not less
