Woah a forum mod in 2023.
If only they checked the forums more than once per year XD
STOP IT, YOU'LL SCARE THEM OFF
Quick!
Throw the net before he escapes!
speaks in their best Elmerfud voice Be vewry quiet.... I'm hunting moderators. Huh uh uh uh. Only to give em a beaver burger...
They are just a myth, just stories we tell to scare the younglings to be good. I am sure there is a scientific reason for the disappearance of the thread.
What thread even got deleted?
a mod? wut dat
Here, here, mod.
Don't be afraid. I have a kupo nut, see? :o
What's a mod? That sounds like the name of an old, old wooden ship used during the Civil War era.
The mods here are just like Legendary Big Fish with freaking long timer like Ku'er
Was that first thread delete of 2023 in general discussion? (unless some other random one deleted). I hope in 2023 the mods and community team interact with us more. We would love to see them post, give any kinda info on what the team may have on our feedback threads, help keep threads from derailing. It would make less bait threads happen if they were more visible and it didnt seem like we were in the wild west out here.
It seems if we want to summon the mod we just have to talk about religion.
The one about the current event from someone who does not know what tradition is got also deleted.
Also, the English forum should be nicer towards them.
Our German Community reps are quite active and talk to us.
But also, they will never write something about in-game feedback. Because people will take a reply out of context and expect changes to happen.
Its like Jesus rose again lol.
So I cant talk about the glory of Yevon?!

Only if it prevents you from enjoying certain aspects of a seasonal event.
*Headpats*
I'd have liked to see that, not understanding what tradition is must have been a very unusual experience to read.
And... I hate to say it.... this kind of IS nice for america. This is downright respectful. Some of these posts are even trying to be ... friendly.
There's no outward hate, just amazement that they exist at all.
Given that we've had full months without post deletion sometimes... it's rather clear it's a hard job to fill.
I got bored and tried to make the point by bumping the hello posts of each comunity outreach person assigned to english... and then the LAST POST THEY EVER MADE. It's typicaly only a few months. They go from happy welcome... they put in a LOT of work, and then crash and burn almost instantly.
We... actually have one right now, still active, still doing work but NOT POSTING HERE, because they know better.
Yeah it was a thread that should have just been a discussion about the current seasonal. About things one liked or disliked about it. Yet religion was part of the op and they didn't understand that not all traditions are related to or really entwined with religion even if it has a connection to a place of worship. I was going to reply to two posts when I got the directory error message. I started laughing when I realized what must have happened. Mostly just cause it'd be a sign that a mod exists. And how that was funny due to all the crap we give them for when they don't delete or lock a thread that probably should be.
Speaking of religion...I've a funny story.
So I went to a Private Christian school my entire high school life ( I felt robbed of a normal high school life for this ) and I was the Audio/Video guy for all the Volleyball/Basketball matches ( NNNNEEEERRRRRDDDDDD! ). So while the teams were doing their warm-ups I would have CDs of family friendly music to play on the speakers in the gym. Well one day I wanted to sneak in some fun for me and see what happens.
So in the front half of the CD I had playing was Madonnas "Like a Prayer". It is a song that SOUNDS religious but can be taken in a completely different way. So I crank up the sound a tad when it kicked on. The parents on the stage are just singing along cause they think it's a prayer song...but one guy is looking at me, and I am looking at him.
He knew, I knew, and we both knew that the other knew what that song is about. He gives me a slow nod of approval much like in that meme. I miss that guy. Wonder what he is up to.
That wasn't a mod. It was a bot moving up in the world.
What impresses me most about those 5k is just the sheer amount of normal content you had run to get them. You have the patience of a saint.
Praise be to Yevon.

That feel when 2015 forums would have Yoshida himself commenting, but 2023 forums are celebrating that a mod deleted a troll thread. ;_;
Bumps this They still exist! We should buy em a burger, some dumplings and a drink of their choice.
Edit: I thought they got rid of something only to see it still around. Anyway they still probably could use the food.
Ayo where all the mods at??
Oh so we can say curse words directed to no one or have an opinion that is not majority and not get permabanned anymore?
Moving on up on these forums I see.
