Merry Christmas to all :)
I'm working retail and people are acting surprised that [insert popular game] is sold out. Apparently that's my fault!
I love the holidays.
Happy Holidays! :)
Merry Christmas to you too.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Yeah I had one just the other day say she hopes I get fired and I ruined her kids Christmas cause we didn't have any Pokémon games. She had no idea I threatened to break a dudes legs if he hopped over our counter to fight us because we passed on his trade.
I didn't get fired for that so I think my job is safe because of lack of product.
Only happens at the PHX location though. Not a good neighborhood.
Retail work can choke on a wet fart.
You couldn't pay me enough to deal with customers that somehow manage to be dumber than I am.
Ahh, retail. Grocery work meant people really getting loud about not having the exact poundage of holiday bird/pig/beef that they need, meltdowns over no crunchy onions the day of (or day before we were closed for Christmas), being sold out of things they absolutely NEED that no one else should have needed...
I don't miss that haha.
Do like the Crimmus spirit up in here though, I hope everyone's days are good and everyone can eat something that they love with the family or friends of their choosing. :)
IMO I think the main cause of it was 2 things. 1 is that alot of ppl don't have a kitchen suited to roasting a full turkey. The other being that ppl didn't like the time needed to cook said turkey as most meals tend to be done in 30 min or less which also includes the prep time. As such. Take out fried chicken was viewed as close enough and far more convenient.
