6.3 Live Letter

Who's watching? I'm glancing over at the translations in the r/ffxiv Discord (https://discord.gg/ffxiv invite if you're interested). Looking forward to the Island updates for sure, and the debuff/buff timers on the Party List should be a game changer for me.

What are you guys thinking?

The 6.3 trailer is also up on Youtube, and story wise, can't really determine much out of it -

Zero apparently collapses weakened at some point, Vrtra roars out a 'calling', Golbez practically confirmed to be planning to invade the Source, and...other stuff... (something something loporrits..). Oh and I think I spied another Ascian Prime in there...

I love the FFIV reference in what I presume is Golbez's palace - the big True Moon and smaller Red Moon.... Lunarians confirmed? :D

EDIT: and I just realized, it's Menphina's palace in Myths of the Realm - the moons are meant to represent her glyph, with the red moon a stylized Dalamud, the smaller moon in her crest. But still comes across as a FFIV and IX reference either way, so I still love it. :D

The next Myths of the Realm raids also look impressive, especially Nophica's area. And Halone looks dangerous fittingly.

And Omega confirmed to be the next Ultimate in the stinger....

I cannot wait for this Omega Ultimate. Maybe I'll finally try my hand at getting through Savage..

F to the last tank that required brain cells.

I'm not sure I'm happy about Goring Blade losing it's DoT.... although getting Bulwark back in potency is nice (and PLD getting damage buffed in general).

The trailer looks awesome oh to just imagine what beautiful armor we will get!!!! I neeeeeed Menphi’s dress!!!!!

It's kinda funny how in the trailer they absolutely refused to show Nophica from the front. They'll show Menphina, Althyk, Nymeia and even bloody Halone. But not her lmao.

That being said Zero isn't looking too great either, starting to give off poochie vibes with how she is always the most important thing in the room.

You & me both….Looks like we won’t be ridding of them after all & already cringed.

Hm yes the focus on Zero doesn’t make me too excited either. Everything else looks nice though so I can brush past that.

It's the one we've already seen. It's in the trailer because that dungeon is getting Duty Support and might be a little different from what we're used to

I too like throwing away my closest friends that I've gone through thick and thin with and replacing them with random nobodies I've never met before.

Analyzing the trailer pretty sure Nymeia and Althyk are double bosses. So we will have 5 of the twelve for the this raid. That leaves 3 of them for the last one.

It's certainly her.

Most likely a flashback from before the failed rejoining of the Thirteenth. Her being a paladin fits the statue in her home.

Oh, I can make out the sleeves and the spinning wheel now. The first few times I went through the trailer I thought I was looking at some shiny moon thing (Menphina) happening, which would have made sense given the shots before and after that one are Menphina, Menphina, Halone, Halone.

Probably not.
Yoshi-P entered the dungeon and the first boss of the Heaven of Earth was defeated, with loot chests. Coming up to the next trash encounter, Althyk spoke, like when Rhalgr tells you to play with his pet after you fought Byregot but before you could fight him. So the sequence is probably Nophica -> Trash -> Althyk, which is in keeping with the cycle we've been traversing so far.

As for the appearance of Nymeia with Menphina and Althyk, that could just end up being a "hey meet my family" thing. Nymeia of course belongs in the Heaven of Water with Thaliak, not either of the Heavens we're seeing this chapter (Earth and Ice). More precisely, she belongs after Thaliak, before Llymlaen.
Of course they could change the order up on us, but I'd assume something more aligned with established patterns first.

If you go to 2:27 in the trailer you can see Nymeia and Althyk on a horse doing a super shiny skill together. I gotta agree they'll likely be a double boss.

Also at the start of the trailer 0:33 mark it actually shows all the bosses in the cycle (Nophica on the far left Halone on the right) and Nymeia is one of them.

Every day we progress "New Found Venture" is more and more of a funny joke.

Like damn, I know that the scions disbanding was a prank, but the gang really couldn't stay apart for more than 11 minutes?

i can't believe we have to fight Hatsune Miku....

To me they are more like Co workers thar became annoying co workers. I was one of the people hoping at the end 6.0 that we would break free for longer than we did. Do the whole wandering adventurer thing. Explore the areas on the source we still have to explore. Meet a new group of npcs we could hang out with. Hear the exploits of the other scions ftom time to time and maybe meet up again in 8.0. Give us some time apart. Had dreams of the adventures we could get into, of all the exciting places that we can go to on the source.

The Alligator mount becomes the most highlight thing of 6.3 for me.

I assume it's from Island Sanctuary, can't wait to get it! :D

Pity it's not as big as the gator from the sanctuary.

It could be subject to aggressive mount scaling and was thus significantly smaller to account for a Lalafell character, though.

Meh People tend to be mixed on the scions, I feel like I'm a fan of all of them tbh, but to a extent I do agree with introducing new NPC's and party members that we can learn about, I felt like they're going in a good direction with the 6.2 patch with that though.

7.0 will probably have the new companions people are waiting for.

Bummed about the upcoming raid gear. I loved the sets from Aglaia, felt very appropriate for gear you'd get after fighting some gods. The new stuff looks very samey to things we already have in game. ._.
