When FFXIV revamp is done.

I'm going to make a new character, and start on a new server. Play from square one. Anyone else?

lol no, I'm keeping my ton and developing him as much as possible so I have somewhat of an advantage over the lazy people and others who are waiting for the revamp to be done.

i dont think i will i love the sever i am on (lindblum) and as i dont get alot of time to play ffxiv i would feel as if i had wasted alot of time and effort building my character up...plus i know this sounds stupid but i feel attached to my character....like shes special.

I would only reroll/move server if my current LS mates break the ls up or alot of them start quitting. Otherwise i'm forever stuck to my lala on Melmond with some really great friends. :)

No way I am giving up my character put too much time into it.

Endgame always tends to be the real meat of a mmo anyways, that is where I have the most fun.

For me it depends how much is changed and how that change is done.

If my work leads to a situation where i can jump right into FFT classes and cool new zones then that's what I'm going to do.

If restarting from scratch is a whole new experience that's quest based with tons of fun party play and new classes from the creation screen i might do that.

It's hard to really tell till its done.

No way, have you seen the punxster roaming the streets in Ul'dah on Wutai? He has at least 50 hot Kitties and hyur females drapped all over him. :)
No really, I have met too many good people on Wutai, i'd never leave. And that is what makes FF MMOs so great, you interact with people, you meet people, and you make some good friends. And NO Charlie Sheen, we are not friends, but you are one crazy dude!

I'm with this guy. Depends on where they load the content.

A question though; this is an MMO... when do you consider the revamp to be 'done'? When they start billing us?

Why is everyone talking like this "revamp" is going to happen all at once?

The things they are changing are going to occur gradually. It's not going to be like WHAM! here's a new game for you guys. Things will be changed a piece at a time and there will be constant updates and improvements.

No chance. I like my low pop server, there's not really much competition getting in my way. And I already put in more time in the 3 months Ive been playing here than most people do in 6 months. Maybe if I had invested a week or two sure. But Ive dedicated hundreds of hours.

a pretty good portion of my friends only hop on like once a month to check out the patch and give a five second review on it, but I plan on keeping my guy and staying on Rabanastre for the long haul. well except..

Kind of the reason I'm not playing too seriously right now. I still see the game as a beta, with major things happening down the line. Once that stuff happens, THEN I'll go all in.
