Your thoughts on Al Mihgo

Hey folks just curious on eveyones thought on the currently destroyed city of Al Mihgo. It is revealed sometime in the storyline that there was a great war with the Garlean Empire 15yrs prior to present day Erozea. Do we smell a future time travel type expasion like WoTG in FFXI? Post away! :)

I disagree, if there were then the ultimate outcome is it will always be destroyed. In WotG the outcome is the 4 countries beat the beastmen. So no matter if you show up or not, the war will always be in the Allied favor.

Going to add we already have the lore of 'the Echo', meaning even if we're able to go back in time via that and interact, we cannot change the future.

Very good point! I left that detail out for sure! XD Perhaps a future expansion dealing with "The Echo" in far greater detail maybe? :D

Learning a little more about it's origins is definitely needed! We know what it does already, but acquiring it still only looks like *you see bright lights and fireballs in the sky* "BAM! You're chosen!". Well I've never seen beyond the R20 questline so not sure how much background surfaces :confused:

I wouldn't mind an expansion that has some better storyline to it or one that makes the current story make more sense somehow.

i wouldn't mind an expansion pack dealing with our past (we change to kid versions of our characters) with more info on how we can hear spirit voices.

sorry to bring up some spoilerish things. Al mihgo is currently being occupied by the empire and is currently being used as a Fob and recruitment facility. If the city was flattened it was rebuilt by its conquerors.

Sort of. The way I understood whole premise of this game is: your an adventurer with the ability to "Re-live" the past through someones memories. Its just a fancy flashback that you witness through someone elses perspective..
