I'm by all means not quitting this game but I have been logging in less and less lately so I'm looking to try something new. Lately I've had an itch to play City of Heroes again since the private server is going extremely well.

My go-to game is still FFXIV or other FF games. But I've been bouncing between FFXIV and WoW for different things and I think they both still have a LOT to learn from each other - It would be a good idea to help us understand our own struggles and differences.
Gw2, personally. I’ve not finished the campaign and have a lot left to learn about it. So it’s a nice game to hit up.
Whatever game you enjoy that isn't way too similar in gameplay. Seriously, best cure for burnout is to go get absorbed into something else for a few weeks.
Phasmophobia atm.
Been playing Wrath Classic lately, enjoy the nostalgia trip and its pretty fun. Otherwise Vampire Survivors is my "I want to waste some time" game.
It’s Genshin at the moment, but I’ll soon replay AC Origin :)
Normally a city builder of some type. I've been playing a lot of Final Frontier lately, and hoping one day a new demo is released for Manor Lords.
I can lose way too much time in city builders. Start a new run, and before I know it, it's 4am.
Some ESO and LotRO atm. Probably WoW when the expansion drops.
Valheim. Building quaint little viking villages all over soothes my soul to no end.
Minecraft, Medieval Dynasty, Planet Crafter, Farming Simulator 22, Subsistence. Just depends on what I feel like doing at the time I take a night or 2 off from the game.
Shock gasp sometimes I don't play a game at all and spend an evening at my floor loom weaving and watching a movie.
Anything Nintendo. Sometimes the frustration is more from dealing with people than anything else. Pokemon, AC, LoZ, and so on. I just grab my handheld, cuddle up somewhere and forget everything else.
Something from my ever-growing backlog. Although right now I'm waiting for the new Pokemon.
Yakuza 0, LoZ: Breath of the Wild and Animal Crossing.
I got this big stack of games I've amassed over the past couple years from playing FF14 too much. I really should start digging into them since lately I haven't been doing a whole lot in-game. Since they're mostly single player games, they're something I can play through and not worry about after I finish it.
Into the Breach and Supreme commander.
League of Legends and Magic Arena :x
Only bc playing GW2 alone is boring.
My backlog on steam
other mmo's bore me these days
Fallout 4, might try to get into Cyberpunk again.
saw the cinematic for the new WoW, but nothing on earth could drag me back. they always do great cinematics, too bad their game design team no longer delivers that quality
Depends on what I'm feeling. If I want to burn some f2p mmos I'll fire up Lotro or Swtor depending on my mood (usually Lotro because I'm always feeling homesick for Middle Earth), if I want chill stuff I have a single player private server for V Rising when I need to play Vampire Sims, Sims if I get that itch to play something for 18 hours straight to come out of the stupor wondering what year it is (before promptly shelving it for like 6 months because I played non-stop)... plenty of backlog stuff too. I'm about halfway through the new Chrono Cross remaster, I have Yakuza Collection and Assassin's Creed Valhalla to get through, Witcher 3... I have no shortage of games, really.
I guess if I want to get my blood pressure up and wonder wtaf my teammates are doing I'll solo queue in Overwatch's Mystery Heroes, but I'm doing that less and less.
Currently a mix of Warcraft 3 Reforged, Privateer 2, and Age of Empires II.
Recently I’ve been burnt out by grinding through re-gearing my 2nd job (WHM) & decided it was redundant to go through the whole ordeal gear-weekly tomes grind as I’ve casually did for my main job (PLD); therefore I’ve decided to just stick with PLD & delighted to just sticking with one job.
Ever since then I’ve come to love the simplicity of being a “purist” with one job & felt less stressed since then & thus haven’t bothered with playing or switching to other jobs (besides Tanks are always in demand & I love tanking).
This has also helped me through dedicatinh more with irl hobbies & interests which basically also makes me appreciate the game more as opposed to feeling “blank” or under limbo/beyond burnt out crisis.
All in all I just log in & play minimum 3 or 2 hours a day & do casual PvP frontlines or help with maps (I don’t do savage & have no time for it).
As opposed to feeling burnt out I am bit sad most of my friends has been inactive for months due to the game’s limbo stage & thus its been difficult trying to meet new people and/or find a casual/down to earth FC.
PS: Currently working on getting the Nekropolis Table from doing FATES.
ATM, its Apex Legends and COD.
I always enjoy a good Shooter. Sometimes I have a good Single Player game, it WAS Elden Ring, but I beat that. So Im about to get back into God of War.
Dungeon Fighter Online, and then probably Pokemon starting this week.
Recently I tried playing Victoria 3 and made USA conquer all America continent :)
I’m currently going though persona 5 royal and dragon ball breakers on my downtime but Pokemon violet will be on my list on Friday.
finishing my backlog
PSO2, Genshin Impact, Granado Espada, or a Nintendo Switch game (especially with the really nice recent releases).
Been finishing stuff lately.
Finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Dragon Quest 2 and 3, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, DLC content added to Monster Hunter Sunbreak since the previous time I played it, Assassins Creed Valhalla, The recent Saint's Row game, Super Robot Wars 30.
Currently playing Harvestella, PSO2 New Genesis, Dragon Quest X, No Man's Sky, Payday 2, Gundam Evolution, Earth Defense Force 5, Went back to Cyberpunk 2077 as I'd not played it since about a month after launch when I finished the story the first time. Will probably hit some of the switch pokemon games to fill out more of my Pokemon Home collection before Scarlet/Violet launches. There's also a number of humorous pervy games I didn't mention but meh... It's almost always hilarious when ppl make a game with a story and mechanics based around lewd stuff... >.>
Came to this game from WoW and am playing it again until new content comes out in this one. With all the experience boosts ingame rn I’ve taken my Blood Elf Arcane Mage to max in like two days. Plus I just enjoy the art style and combat of WoW more.
Atm:
FF11 (since I recently picked it up for the first time),
PSO2:NGS (perfect time to start as it's getting an expansion in December and extremely customizable instanced housing in the works)
In the realm of single player I'm wrapping up Alice: Madness Returns and have been having an itch to play the original Mass Effect trilogy & Red Dead Redemption 2 lately.
I feel difficult to invest time in a second MMO even when I'm taking a short break from XIV, so my go-to is single player games.
Luckily Tactics Ogre is out there, so I think I'll decide between that or FF7-R PC port.
I've only been playing for 11 months, but at this point I can't really see myself reaching burnout. Not saying it'll never happen, but I'm at a point where it still feels as if I've barely scratched the surface.
However, I should probably note that I came to FFXIV due to very much burning-out on the MMO I played before FFXIV. I'd played that one for over a decade, but ended up quitting last December due to a combination of powercreep ruining the gameplay and a sleazy business model with an overwhelming dedication to using FOMO and gambling/loot boxes and expensive (£300) item 'bundles' to to strip-mine their player base for all they can manage, with absolutely no regard whatsoever toward sustainability, burnout, or player feedback.
The game called Real Life. XIV's the only game I play these days so when I need a break I go do real life things I've been ignoring.
