Is it really game breaking, that BLU could dominate the main story solo? Notwithstanding people like me......errrr.....Whales buy lvl boost, which allows them to completely dominate the main quest anyway?
Deadhorse? Yeah....but some horses need to be beat unfortunately.

BLU should be able to do MSQ up to their associated level cap yes I do agree. If they have to be limited you should be able to progress through the quests if entering a duty is not required. And for the duties you can just queue solo.
Lots of shills want to support the devs ass backwards design on limited jobs although they can clear content just fine.
If Warriors can solo dungeons and content on their own there is no reason to bar Blue Mage from doing the same.
This stigma that BLU is bad needs to go away when in reality BLU is amazing and the other classes are bad lol. -

BLU can actually do quite a bit of cool stuff. Between helping relic fate farms, fate farming in general actually, soloing Treasure hunt dungeons, getting mats from old trials, hunt marks, gear collecting in dungeons for gil or GC seals as well as the ability to be any of the 3 roles.
Unlike the other jobs the Blue Mage actually gets to keep their job progression the more spells they learn as opposed to other jobs being gated by level sync and skill acquisition by level.
You are actively rewarded for playing your job class over the course of the games life and when we get the new BLU update BLU's are gonna get even stronger while the other jobs in relation get weaker.
Ironically I feel like BLU would be the perfect MSQ job since the other jobs have the "carved with past deeds" whereas BLU has no past deeds so everything you do is creating your own deeds as a BLU instead of relying on the power of others you learn things for yourself.
Like even with the devs gimping BLU on weapons with no stats or weapon damage it still wrecks the place. It's that good. It's a great DPS, can be a risk reward Tank and is the games most engaging healer in the game by virtue of having an actual DPS kit instead of a joystick and one button.
Limiting the solo job from "solo content" seems a bit ridiculous no? Considering MSQ is primarily solo content? -

I have nothing against Blu doing any content outside of the normal duty finder system. Non-roulette, premade groups, solo-unsync’d? go for it.
Any situation where Blu would be grouped with random players in situations not specifically designed for Blu? Against. -

People like to insist on Self Destruct but to be honest we've done worse with other classes.
