Trophy Crystals piling up - nothing to use them on

I can't help but notice, that we are *FORCED* to accept these tokens for pvp series rewards, but after a certain point...there's no use for them. i'm just...kind of curious, we'll be able to have a roundabout to accept pvp series rewards without being *FORCED* to take this currency that serves no purpose after ...what 8 classes? have been maxed and glamour gear obtained?

I realize this isn't a HUGE issue, since we can just dump this currency into wolf collars and then toss them away. but....i can't help but feel like...it's sort of poorly utilized is all. They should either be reduced in the amount we receive per level/tier of pvp series, or, we should have more options of what we can use them for. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I dont know...just something i noticed off handedly.

They probably didn't expect players to play PvP for any prolonged time with their reward structure.

I was already done with everything I wanted with those during S1, so I've been just buying the collars to not overcap.

Doesn't help that the remaining rewards are also mostly one and done and achievements can be brainlessly grinded in Casual while doing something else.

Don't get me wrong. i think the system that it is, performs wonderfully. ...it's .....just a bit much of a payout is all. could do with less reward, opting for more (or rather the current amount) of attention towards pvp as it was intended to be clearly.

Start adding previous mog tomestone treasure rewards to it (For ARR rare stuff) or something else extremely hard to get and make it require trophy cap or close to it.

Definitely not a fix all, but what if they added an upgrade to HD models for the Hellhound weapons and after that a renewable option to change between various particle effects for said weapons via TC purchase?

Was quite confused about this - I assumed they'd rotate the wolf collar rewards too so you could dump excess trophies into collars to get previous feast rewards that are unobtainable... Maybe they just forgot PvP again? I hope they will release a patch with a new map, alongside new rewards soon-ish, hopefully with 6.3(5)

I don't recollect any statement that past Feast rewards other than the Blackhound series being available via Trophy Crystals -> Wolf Collars was ever a plan. I do recall multiple times though that Yoshida said that redistribution of past Feast rewards (namely the top 100 series) is out of question due to the series of complaints and loss of faith this would lead to by those who invested their time and skill into it.

At this point might as well add more dyable AF gear, some of the ShB could have a different dye color set for example (so you can still farm Memoria Misera EX if you want that specific set with different dyes)
Or add new permanent mount\emotes etc

Convert to collars and then marks. Problem solved. There won't be frequent gear updates in Wolves Den.

They should make a Hellhound relic weapon and just make tons of collars required for all the steps so there is always something to work towards :p

I'd settle with the metallic dye's or something even to be bought as misc item with crystals, already have materia with marks, and it's something you always need or can sell.

Some accessories are already purchasable so... put the rest of the Feast sets on there! People who got them "legit" have had plenty of time to boast.

Pot of Jet Black or Pure White Dye for 10000 crystals each. Let's do it, SE.

Would be nice to have some sort of housing items where you could show off your Seasonal Ranks for example. There's already the team banners, but they could be extended to a lot of other things.

While I understand the demand, please understand that eventually turning what was a trophy of a competition into a status symbol with expiration date is an awful move and will cost SE the remainder of their integrity regarding what they said about PvP.

I don't think it is fair to let the significance of competition trophies expire by redistributing them, no matter how much you might cry wolf about the existence of individuals who played dirty. I and many others put a lot of effort into it when specific job designs and match rules were in place and were the best of it at the time of corresponding seasons.

New rewards, yes. Old Feast rewards should not be touched.

I'd love to see a purchasable mount for +100K Trophy Crystals.
Maybe the blue drone/ball from the Omicron daily quests would be a nice choice or the green one that King Goldemar sits on. They're similar to Frontline achievement mounts and do look cool.

Its just the same as on the Island sanctuary... once you played a bit you got all the rewards... and no i dont wanna have to take the pity materia... Like please, at least hand us the tokken to exchange em so we dont have so much materia clutter...

Make all old feast reward gear available. :) (which judging by the weapon that you can get with wolf collars they plan on doing that albeit slowly.)
