Just a thought for Machinist weapons

One can hope and dream on this i know it wont happen but when we use the Scattergun, we pull out the big boy shotgun with the ammos attached to the sides like the image below. I know theres couple of guns out there that is close to or similar to shotgun weapons (deepshadow, etc). Pistols and such are nice but im really a fan of shotguns lol i can imagine my lala holding the big gun xD i would love to see some actual shotgun weapons for machinist in the future :) c’mon Yoshi-P make it happen lol

I know this might be a lot of work for what boils down to something you barely see but I would love it if the shotgun changed depending on what weapon you have equipped. AR-15 looking gun? Combat shotgun looking shotgun. Allagan looking gun? Allagan looking shotgun. ect. ect.

That would be very cool!

What we really need is for them to give the flamethrower a proper use. I don't think I'll ever stop being salty over the fact that it exists but it's not really any good.

Flamethrower rework.... or just replaced by something else actually usable and allowing MCH to be a goodd choice against DNC or BRD

Yeah wouldnt mind if flamethrower acted like Blu's Phantom Flurry, basically regular flamethrower effect but with a finisher, like a big explosive blast or something...

Just let me hide the lunchbox already.

The biggest issue with flamethrower is making room to use it, since it's useful but only if you've burned every other CD you've got and don't have any heat built up during a mass pull. Even if all they did was get rid of the "you can't move period" thing, that'd help it. Realistically though it does need some sort of synergy, like a per-tick effect(+heat, -tools CDs, etc).

I don’t understand why they haven’t given it synergy. It’s been a few years, don’t they see the ability isn’t worth casting as it is? Then again, Summoners still have a useless Physic, and that’s been 84 years since that happened.

It'd be nice if we could hold different types of guns in a certain way when they're a specific type that realistically require one or two hands to hold and aim with.

I would love to have the handgranade back. Was so nice...

The scattergun model is so pleasant to look.
Just a shame it is for aoe only...

Personally I'd prefer it if the scattergun ditched the custom weapon altogether. We use it once and then discard it? Keep the animation (apart from throwing it away at the end) but use the gun we're already holding. And on the subject of flamethrower as it was mentioned, I say just make it like Bioblaster. Press a button and do an AOE that applies a burn DoT dealing its 80 potency per tick or whatever it does now. Make it share a recast with Air Anchor just like Bio Blaster shares one with Drill.
