PALADIN COVER BUG in PVP needs fixing

Please fix this they use cover to allow others to take points in the middle of AEs and fights. ridic.

We know, we already made like ten threads about it.

It helps more posting in ongoing threads, according to Yoshida iirc.

Oh that's why I saw a cover PLD stealing a flag while we attacked him......... and we lost desperately.

It's been around for awhile, I was hoping they would have fixed the issue by 6.2 but it seems they haven't done anything about it. Getting to the point this kind of exploit is becoming more mainstream for onsal

It has been what, 6 months since the pvp changes and exploit were noticed. At this point i think it was intended. I just can't believe that the dev team is so inept that they just can't find that one line of code that would fix this currently meta defining exploit. They either intended this or frankly don't care. Either choice sucks.

It is working as intended as there are many other job actions can counter
Most simple counter is Monk can push PLD back 15 yards to break Guardian link.
If you spend 5 mins with google you can find out these information
You need to understand the mechanic

You are weirdly invested in defending the team's inaction on rectifying (or even addressing) an issue that most people are starting to see as inexcusable and in need of changing. Almost brown-nosey.

A PLD using the strat is going to be using Guard, which prevents the knockback from Enlightenment. So, the MNK would need to LB first, which locks both the MNK and PLD in place for up to 3 seconds. Another second for Enlightenment to actually push said PLD an adequate distance away to break their Guardian tether. By the time you can actually get these off, there's a good chance their cover target will already have capped, and this is under ideal conditions that you aren't also getting CC'd as well.

It's an entirely unreliable method, like most in Frontlines simply due to how many factors are at play. Your cookie-cutter advice doesn't help or make things better. If it did, this wouldn't still be such a hot topic 4+ months later.

If you spent 5 minutes actually playing the content you can find out this information. Understand how the mechanics work.

the amount of coordination required to stop it isnt going to be found in a game mode of random dopes who queue for their daily losses to get the exp bonus for their alt jobs. its also hardly the point, the amount of coordination required to stop it in the first place vastly outweighs the coordination required to do it, on top of the fact that this can be done every 25 seconds, meanwhile the counters require 2 minute LBs, LOL. this counter also requires 3 people at minimum, one to bust the guard, one to knock the pally, one to hit the guy on the point. all inside of a 5 second window, on the laggiest game on the market right now.

the only ignorant one here is you thinking that this is at all intentional. it is clearly not

I'd say something snarky but your ass is getting beat enough. Defending this weird thing the team is doubling, tripling and quadrupling down on will get you nowhere.
