It's just a temporary thing due to increased load, not even a new message. Just slam it till you get in.
Its people crafting in their houses and playing with new furniture. It'll go away in a day or two.
I noticed this earlier with my house. It went away after a while though and I was able to access my house just fine on multiple occasions, like right now. But yeah, the problem will work itself out over the next couple of days.
I may not be able to play in a day or two, but my house will expire in 6 days I think.

Then keep trying is all I can suggest. You SHOULD be able to get in at least once if you are persistent enough. I'm also pretty sure that they never turned auto demolition back on unless I missed something in the patch notes. They usually make a post on the Lodestone prior to turning auto demo back on and I haven't seen one yet.
Yup, did it with island sanctuary and with my house earlier today. TBH, it's a touch silly that they don't just implement a subqueue (principally because I'd be hard-pressed to think of any mechanism in which it's less load on the server to run a queue than having 1000+ people slamming it every second) but it really does not take more than minimal perseverance to get in to IS or your house. Certainly nothing worthy of the level of actually suspending autodemo for given this congestion will probably last 1-2 days tops.
Just re-enable it on non-EU servers.
There is no reason for the rest of the game to be halted because of something that affects 1 region.
I'd rather just keep it off entirely. It goes against their own stated design philosophy of encouraging players to take breaks from the game if they need/want one. It wont even fix the supply issue, it's just an empty gesture. The only exception I would make is for empty plots, those should be auto reliquished if there is no house built on them soon after winning it. To accompany that I think the price to build the house itself should be included in the price of the plot to avoid confusion.
