sad that Drk only scored 9% but Pet jobs scored the highest so im happy Summoner will most likely be coming first! Woot Woot (some faith in the community! was so scared a melee job was gonna win.)

I hope it goes in this priority:

Puppetmaster > Beastmaster > Summoner. Free Companies will already summon so summoner technically should be lower priority regardless.

Puppetmaster does seem possible. The puppets are even in the current game right now. I don't think it will be first though, because the popular demand leans in favor of Summoner and Beastmaster. I won't doubt it will make a return one day.

If they add summoner, a lot of those people still think that they can summon Ifrit, Shiva, etc. and they are going to be so butthurt when they find out it doesn't work that way

They are adding smn. As stated by yoshida.

It'll probably be BST for the first pet class since they did say in a letter or something they're working on the system for taming monsters

I think it will most likely be SMN they add first for the pet job since they said they want to add disciples of magic into the game first as we only have 2 currently. It would be killing 2 birds with one stone.

In one of His letters he states that Smn is his favorite job he just need to find out ways to make it work. I mean Summoners Storyline is actually in game roight now. You COULD learn out to summon from the beings that taught the beast mean how to summon primals. And how to make it work is that Beast means bodies can hadle more strain so they can summon primals such as ifrit and all that. while a players body cant handle as much and are forced to summon lesser primals.

And even though a mage job was the second lowest picked the game does need more Mages than DD so i THINK that Summoner would be at the head of the line followed by Pup then bst.

Right, but saying he enjoyed playing it and would like to add it to the game if they can get it to work is different than saying they are adding it. Just trying to point that out. A lot of times even Yoshida talking about something in the most general of terms is taken for gospel on these forums. Then we have to see all the threads people put up to QQ about how they were "lied" to.
