Max Howling Fist on Miser post patch.

Just starting this thread curious to see what other monks have been able to do damage wise on the mistress of aurum vale. Here's mine:

So here's the breakdown:

MH: Garuda's Talons
Head: Darklight Eyepatch
Body: Flame Sergeant's Tabard
Waist: Veteran's Field Belt
Hands: Felt Bracers (Blue) +35 str triple meld
Legs: Temple Gaskins
Feet: Darklight Caligae
Earrings: Explorer's Earrings
Neck: Electrum Gorget +1
Wrist: Rubelite Bracelet +1
Rings: x2 Rubelite Ring +1

Food: Smoked Raptor (+7 str / 41 attack power )

You have nearly the same setup as me I just have 10 more str on gloves, and i use 1 zircon ring. best ive seen from mine is 1685. I also was using explorers tunic at the time and am waiting to test my crit melded rainmakers tunic and add a mega strength potion to the mix :)

Nice Mister! I haven't attempted to get better gloves yet for lack of laziness but I hope to make one with more str which would hopefully free up my wrist slot to get the Immortal Flame wrist with int+ on it I believe? Sounds like your set is way nicer then mine though :)

Very similar set but I end up with a bit more Strength from the Gloves and pants is all, then wear an INT ring.

And I did notice the GC bracelet it looks very nice, I'm a flames GC as well and have thought about picking it up but I can't figure out which 3 pieces I would wear to fit the requirement of 3 flame equips. Tabard and Bracelet of course but the only 3rd piece I could see myself wearing would be the Flames sash, and that would remove my peisteskin belt which already 2 INT on it so im hardly gaining any stat for all the seals spent.

Not my highest, but highest since I decided to SS it lol.

Very nice, my highest has been just above 1600. I have pretty average gear (no DL, STR is capped and INT is close to cap). Curious how you guys are getting so much higher values.

Are those with str potions?

Crit dmg+. It has a *huge* effect now. Also Garuda Talons for highest DPS, which = best WS dmg.

I didn't have mega pot of str on me at the time. :( But yeah crit power is buffed up.

Double IV STR on both gloves and legs.
Belt, Earring, Feet, and Choker is serpent set.

Looking nice, want corselet ;-;. And wow those serpent pieces really assist in the int. department.

It really does! so i am really tore if i should bother with DL caligae since it will break my serpent combo ; ;

Is crit power worth not capping stats? I'm currently sitting at 362 str, 317 int with food and garuda's.

Well first off, what do your HF numbers look like Musaid?

Upper end is just under 1800.

We had a MNK hit ~170 DPS with ~2200 HFs on Mistress after the patch.

Not bad Musaid, it seems as though crit attack is the main factor in these higher numbers. And Carraway that's awesome, I assume that the monks are geared to the teeth :D?

Same here a couple times on that dps after the patch (Forgot to check howling damage though), from another monk besides my gimp ass. Monk is really something else for Single target dps.

I don't think I've gotten far past 1800, so at least as far as that figure goes you can get there without massive HFs.

I would assume your best DPS numbers would come from capped stats, while your highest Howling Fist spike damage would come from stacking crit attack.

I think I hit a 1866 but haven't done AV much since the patch; that was my 2nd HF of the fight so it did not have Mega-Pot so I assume I could possibly hit into the 1900 range if the stars align.

Just using Corselet/Eyepatch for Crit atk w/capped stats on Ifrit Claws.
