Did I miss something? No final fantasy at all at E3?

I'm at work and trying to scavenge for what's been shown at e3. No final fantasy at all?! Nothing? Nada?

so far the only footage is of conferences, the event has just begun, so patience my friend

we already pretty much knew final fantasy 14 wasnt going to be at the big conferences, itl have its own floor show thing later on or its own mini conference that get coverage somewhere im sure(well SE will hold one, not for 14 in general though)

I wasn't talking about ff xiv only. I mean, and counting.. Versus, ffxiv, agito, ff xv, and whatever others they are hiding under their sleeves.

again, its very very early, the event started today, and thats only for the "pre show" conferences, the floor opens up tomorow i believe and thats when you will start to see stuff

E3 hasn't started yet. These are all early press releases. Square has quite a bit lined up for E3.

This does not relate to FFXIV either.

That's so strange. The other thread is talking about what a failure E3 was. How can they know if it hasn't started?

I'm being serious here, I know nothing about how E3 is run. How long does it last?

what we are saying fail is the microsoft, sony, ea and ubisoft conferences(well sony and microsoft were pretty fail, ubisoft was pretty good)


but for a quick ide aof how it works

day 1-2 = conferences by the biggest companies(sony, ea, ubisoft, microsoft, and nintendo)

days 3-5 = floor show where all the other stuff happens that isnt in the big conferences

Well the LaraCroft Tomb Raider reboot was shown today(game play), so that's one so far. And it looks great. Uncharted has a beast to compete with. But like everyone else said, tomorrow and onwards is the real E3 start.

I don't know. I follow e3 for years. The first day is the main day. The other days are just open booth for ppl to play. Whatever they had to show as main stuff, are done at Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft conferences. I don't expect failtendo to surprise me tomorrow, so I guess that's it. Hope TGS, saves the final fantasy year.

yeah MOST of the biggest announcesments will be done at the big 3 conferences(and the little 2 if you count ubi and ea)

and i feel ya on nintendo, i can already predict what they say tomorow

new maria game
new zelda game
new metroid game
new smash brothers game
new useless hardware piece like a heart rate moniter for some random system

they are pretty predictable

Just a quick correction: The floor show will be on days 2-4. That's Tuesday (tomorrow/today depending on where you are), Wednesday, and Thursday. Nintendo's press conference will be held at 9AM Pacific time Tuesday, and the doors to E3 itself open at noon. On Wednesday and Thursday the doors open at 10 AM.

Not that I'm going to be there. :(

ok so i was off a bit, but you get the idea basicaly, day 1 is conference only, and then it slowly builds up from there

if you ever really want specific info on games, the conferences are NEVER the place to get that info at anyway, thats where they hit you with surprises and new announcements for the most part

i follow some company conferences they will do in the private rooms each year(such as harmonix) and thats a real good way to get info.

im sure SE will do something like that, but then you gotta rely on someone actualy recording it/streaming it and so on cuz its not a given

Apparently it was leaked that they are releasing an XL model lol but ya, hopefully there will be some 14 related news tomorrow. Seeing as the event is only 3 days hopefully they at least give us an idea if they plan on making any stream worthy news during the next 3 days.

I maybe wrong but i saw a show list for the entire event on Gamespot. I saw nothing in re guards to Square. But like I said, I could be wrong.

I think I heard something of Square Enix on wednesday, but I could be wrong too :P

august is when SE will spew out tons of stuff about 2.0 for the general public to consume - it's in the PDF that was updated a few days ago...

FFXV will probably be on Nintendo E3 conference.
