Where are the parties?

So I've been trying to find a reason to keep playing. I thought server merges would mean more parties. It did for awhile.

I've only fought Garuda 10 times in 3 days since it was released and since than I can't find any parties. I've logged in everyday since it was released than fixed (all time-zones); and it seems no one wants to do it anymore.

Japanese shouts are only for hamlet right now; everyone else is on AF or Ifrit/Moogle.

I've tried a few linkshells to no avail; so is there anyone out there that actually wants to do this content and if not can someone tell me why no one's doing it. If they are doing it what time-zone do you see these shouts? I'm on PST.

I want to enjoy the community aspect of this game but it seems while we have more players community is going to the crapper :(

AF weapons coming out pretty much means the Garuda one's will become obsolete, thus a waste of time.

More like it appears everyone is deathly afraid of Garuda

well a ton of people abused the BLM burn strat and got all the weps they wanted, therefore they dont look for it anymore

This here. Could be a lot of folks playing Diablo 3. That and it was pretty much ghost town on my server after BLM strat got nerfed for Garuda.

Since Diablo 3 came out, the servers have been empty.

Garuda is a tad more difficult, and as stated above people are doing hamlets in preperation for AF weapons. The Diablo hype will die down once we get more info on 2.0 @ E3

I wanted af weapons til I saw I have to farm 25k seals and 9 hamlet drops for each one (and thats just what we know now). Then just said lol f-you se, too much work for weapons that will quickly become obsolete after a patch or two. Same with darklight.

It's definitely something you don't want to do in a pick up group. I think we have 6 people now with the notes and several more 1-2 seals away from finishing.

SE just relys to much on collecting 20k of this and 10 of that to get the weapons instead of collecting 20k of fun and 10 of enjoyment. I would much rather quest for items, even if those quests needed full groups to complete certain tasks, than do the same thing 100 times. It seriously destroys the joy of the game.

It feels like magians is starting to seep in and if that system rears its ugly head I will unsubscribe without blinking an eye
