Just curious...
I spend most of my gil buying houses to lose them in demolition. Atm pondering which house to buy in the new servers.
Lately? Decorating a new house.
Before that? Thanalan topsoil and fig seeds.
repairs and teleports
Furniture for my hous-

- Buying presents for friends.
- Preparing furnitures for a house that may or may not be obtained in a few years or so.
- Purchasing various low prized items from another world to resell them again in my world for profits.
- Minor: teleports.
- Hoarding for cheaper IX & X materias (mostly DoH's) so I can resell them when they are hot again.
Definitely not teleports. (this post was sponsored by the blue carnival)
Spent about 62 million on a large and small house next to one another on Sophia in Ishgard along with garden furnishings. Going to spend another 3 million to let a friend transfer her small next to mine so we can be together.
Will get to the interiors at some point stuff here is so expensive at the moment.
I used to spend A LOT on food buffs and pots ( I help a ton of people in PF to get their Savage clears, almost on a daily basis ).
Now I craft it myself but I spent a lot of gil on leveling crafters so I am poor atm lol.
When the crafted gear is still relevant I also buy it for basically all roles ( or at least most ) and pentameld the gear.
Then there's stuff for Relic weapons for glam too that is quite expensive in the end.
In the past year or so, glamour, with housing a distant second.
Having all my crafting and gathering classes leveled to 90 helps, I don't have to buy much.
Just the super-rare drops you need to craft glamour items like the Varsity Skirt.
the true endgame: GLAMOUR! :)
And if I'm inside a FC, I try to help it if I can see somewhere that needs improvement. If not, I just do some FC events using gil to buy prizes for the ppl there :3
I never cared much for housing for myself, so I never needed much money. Just for those things, mostly.
Teleporting and buying mats that are dropped from dungeons/enemies most times since I can typically talk myself into gathering for an hour but not grinding mobs for an hour.
glams, dyes (mostly jet black, sadly), raid food and pots
Glamour: Already have what I’ve wanted (check mark)
Minions: Not interested
Mounts: Got two & happy with them (check mark)
Crafting: Not interested
Housing: Not interested
Apartment: I adore & value my condo & did took the effort to make it as home as possible & far happier with it; feel free to visit it on Faerie at Empyrium Ward 24 Apartment #2 (check mark)
Overall, I hardly or almost never buy anything as I’ve already reached my goals (including endgame’s) & just no longer care to make a fortune or dwell beyond luxurious purchases/collection sorts.
For the most part I play 2 hours a day at most & just slowly gearing up via Algae weekly coins.
Very happy where I am at; couldn’t ask more, nor I’ve interest to go beyond.
(Currently have 4mil gil & most are spent on teleports & repairs & whenever I am able I’ll do what I can to help others along.)

Honestly, just glamours, mats and teleports
Glam, gardening, crafting, all the good stuff in between for when I'm too lazy to gather mats.
RNG drops I can't be bothered to farm: minions, music, extreme primal materials, materials from treasure maps, items from exploration ventures and sub/airship missions, rare lootbox items, general purpose dyes. Also timed node stuff and dyes you get by doing timed fetes, because I'm not waiting. Housing plots if I ever get to relocate. Tradeable PvP rewards because I hate PvP.
Saving for retirement.
Nothing expensive. Literally any minion, mount or other vanity item can easily end up in the next loot coffer or Moogle tome event and instantly crash in price so why waste gil. There's not even any guarantee they won't add a ShB coffer to the GC next expansion that includes the two Gold mounts.
I also can't be bothered making gil via crafting anymore, bots destroyed that, so while my initial plan was to cap my gil total off at a nice round number and spend the excess freely, that project ended up indefinitely on pause.
Lately it has mostly been on Firmament materials to level crafting. Otherwise I dont spend on much of anything.
Mount that i have no patience to farm (latest one was the dodo)
In other games I would be spending all my money on housing, but the housing system in this game is a disaster.
Working girls and coke.
i spend my money buying allag coins that i sell to gain more money
Mostly dyes, even though I want to save for a medium house. I do buy pure dyes with gil (black and white), and even the cheaper dyes add up if you make a lot of glamours. On occasion, I'll spend a large amount of gil on a crafted glamour piece off the market as well.
Kupo Nuts <3
What do I spend my money on? What else?
Housing, mounts, minions and orchestrion rolls.
Raid food buffs for my dps lol thats about it but mostly i gone out , gather the ingredients and craft it myself or have my lv90 botanist do the gather for me xD but other than that, nothing too expensive.
Been buying up minions lately, but I'm running low on new ones to buy. Might go for mounts next.
Sprouts and returners on the Novice Network when they need stuff. Dyes for glam, minions to giveaway, materials for crafting e.t.c.
Used to spend a bunch at Coeurl's 'HalfPriceChicken' but since I retired (again) from raiding mostly teleport fees, crafting mats, paying an alt to make HQ DoH/L gear, and buying crafted combat gear because I can't be bothered to farm tomes.
Mostly just glamour and crafting materials.
Food, tinctures, gear repairs, teleport fees... and every now and then I'll have to buy that metallic brass dye.
Spend my gil on air and lala's.
Food if I forgot to craft because I'm the only one in our static using the Cookies. Pots are provided by the FC, for teleports I have tickets, I can repair my own gear and get the dark matter from my GC. So nothing to spend gil on regularly.
If I'm on a housing spree I'll have to buy some items but even there I generally craft everything myself. So I'm just sitting on a pile of gil.
Nothing, it's there for high score.
Literally nothing as housing is a privilege to 1% of the playerbase.
