If you could pick 2 dungeons to blacklist from roulettes, which two would you pick?

Keeper of the Lake - I hate the aesthetic, I hate the boss fights, I hate the blaring alarms that go off.

I would have usually picked Aurum Vale as a second but I'm starting to hate it less. I think:

Haukke Manor - The dungeon itself is fine, it's just most classes aside from the tank don't have aoe at this level and 1 , 2 ,3 each seperate add is just tedious.

Which dungeons would you blacklist - and why?

Labyrinth of the Ancients
Syrcus Tower
World of Darkness (if I'm allowed to complete this collection)

It's shame that you see those like 90% of times doing AR-Roulette, while we have alot more interesting AR's available (also there's the issue with itemlevel-exploit that's still a thing)
In my opinion those should be seperated in MSQ-AR Roulette or integrated in MSQ altogether.

To be honest, if I could pay Yoshi $10 extra a month to -never do ARR content in roulettes again- I would.

Only two? Because everything ARR would be gone, not because i hate ARR dungeons but the classes are annoying in this level range. In my opinion older content and how you synch needs a serious overhaul.
If only two picks: LotA and Syrcos Tower

Leveling
• Copperbell Mines: the amount of Yes/No options when the only viable way is forward is annoying.
• Ktisis Hyperboreia: first boss intermissions always lines up to mess with your cooldowns. The last remaining pulls after 2nd boss just drags (devs really trying hard to prevent wall pulls lol)

50/60/70/80
• Hullbreaker Isle: lighting is bad for my sight, especially during night time. 2nd boss has really annoying intermission timing. 3rd boss is where DF folks always never gets that the last two kraken’s tentacle will stick to the platform with player that has highest enmity even when its in middle of throwing a random player to another platform. Stay in that same platform and stop trying to “chase” it gdi.
• Copperbell Mine (Hard): 2nd boss. get the frick out of the bomb’s range after I put it down, people!! why do you love dying so much!?

Trials
• Seats of Sacrifice: QTE. Enough said.
• Seats of Sacrifice: QTE. Enough said. (1)

Normal Raid

• Sigmascape: my least liked of the current roulette pool. I think I’m getting this one way too often in the past month that I’m starting to disliking chicken tenders…

Weeping City of Mhach.

I hate that place. I hate it with every fiber of my being. They could delete it without losing anything of importance. The vore orb could just sink into the marsh and be forgotten.

I can't think of anywhere else that I'm like "eh, we can delete" but this place lmao.

I haven't done dungeon roulette in years, to be honest, so my opinion of them is pretty invalid and bad. I'm counting Alliance Raids as dungeons, so my picks are Labyrinth of the Ancients and Syrcus Tower.

Sometimes I que for Orbonne, Weeping City, and Dun Scaith independently just to force them into the roulette.

Toto-Rak because the "revamp" was so great they might as well remove it and turn it into a solo encounter, lol.
Malikah's Well because I find every aspect of the dungeon (fights, music, visuals, ect.) very boring. I would even run The Vault over the Well.

Malikah's Well and Ktisis Hyperborea pop far too often for my tastes, and I don't particularly enjoy the aesthetics or bosses in either.

I get the low leveled ARR so rarely that it tends to feel more refreshing then tedious.

This is an interesting question because they revamped my two most hated dungeons: Copperbell Mines and Toto-rak. I actually like Copperbell now and Toto-rak is, well, tolerable.

I'd say maybe Holminster Switch, because it was the first dungeon where I felt like they're not even trying to hide the linearity of it and the two-pack/impassable wall formula, and the bosses feel like they have excessive visual telegraphing of moves that takes me out of the fantasy of it all.

And I don't know, still Toto-rak I guess! The first two bosses are really uninspired, I'm glad for the changes but it would have been nice if they made those two boss encounters more engaging considering all the work they did on Copperbell.

Begone forever...every lv50.

But for real, Aurum Vale, and Sastasha.
If I could blank out 2 dungeons, I hate these 2 with every fiber of my being.
I have gotten Sastasha SO MANY TIMES while leveling classes, the dungeon is just boring as sin....and Arum Vale at this point its just bad Memories. That place I think got adjusted 3 or 5 times because it was so bad. And even though I admit its not nearly as bad as it used to be...I still hate the place.

Aurum Vale and Snowcloak.

Aurum Vale because of the obvious hatred for Morbols and the poison fields that make it look worse than a Poison Swamp in a FromSoft game (If you've played any. You'll know they get stupid real quick. ¬.¬) Even the "updates" its recieved to the 2nd boss is still not enough to make it 'better'.

Snowcloak because, honestly? It's.. Not interesting to me. I understand its importance to the Elezen in the Dravanian War, but.. I just cannot even begin to care.

I don't want anything removed, I want things adjusted so that they become real dungeons again. Sunken Temple of Qarn used to be one of my favourite dungeons, and now I hate it because everything that used to make it interesting is now easily skipped in DF groups and you miss out on 90% of the loot. I've been leveling alt jobs lately and when you actually want to gear up in that level range it's absolutely infuriating. Doubly so when you actually have a new player joining and you know they are going to have a garbage impression of the game because of it.

I think LoTA and ST are givens. If I was choose two others it would be Sastasha and Copperbell Mines, especially with the addition of the Duty Support feature.

I'm just wondering, considering they went out of their way to rework Dzemael Darkhold (even though it's not part of the MSQ), why they didn't do the same to Aurum Vale. You can't even use the duty support in there, so what was the point?

they only reworked a section of dzmael and only because everyone kept complaining about getting knocked off the edge to their death they reworked copperbell but didnt touch sastasha even though it needed a rework just as badly

they didnt do any reworks on sunken temple even though it needs it (when will tanks learn that you cant do big pulls in sunken temple unless you wanna die to final sting, likewise when will tanks learn that in the first section of dzmael the blue/purple spots reduce the amount of damage you take by like 90% instead they continue to do big pulls and then stand out in the open wondering why they keep dieing)

The Praetorium - although actually, in truth I don't so much wish it were blacklisted as don't mind it in itself, but I do wish the cutscenes could be skipped!

Second choice - Aurum Vale. Sorry, but it's just not fun!

Antitower, keeper of the lake probably. Always got these same two dungeons in 50/60/70/80 and so I dont run it anymore. Exp isnt great anyway.

Leveling: Dzemael Darkhold. I seem to get this one every day. Even with the changes, it's still annoying. Trash mobs that just sit in alaska and fire at you from a distance. The stupid "must stand here for a random amount of time to open doors" mechanic. People who don't stand in the lights. Awful.
Trial: Steps of Faith. All you do is walk a dragon for 5 minutes. I'll be so glad when this becomes a solo duty. I never heard anyone defend this trial until SE finally said they'd just remove it; now all of a sudden people talk about how much they like it. Give me a break, man. Hate this trial.
Alliance Raid: The entire crystal tower series should be put into msq roulette instead, and everyone who takes off their gear to force it in roulette should get a 10 day ban.
Normal Raid: A1 and A2. I regret even unlocking Alexander because now all I get is A2 in my normal raid roulette every goddamned day. A long hallway of trash, leading to a final boss that's just more trash.

I would pick the 89 dungeon + Void Ark.
I've been farming the minion in the 89 for weeks now and it just never drops, and I dislike the fake pulls there.
Void Ark to me is the most boring and unappealing looking alliance in the game, since it got released I've been dreading to get it..

I’m sick to do those boring dungeons, especially the ARR ones.

I fucked up when i unlocked crystal tower. I never did it back in the day, but then i thought may as well unlock some more raids. The alliance raid roulette went from being fun to being world of darkness every single queue.

Leveling: Dzemael Darkhold, Sohm Al
Expert: The Dead Ends
50/60/70/80: Amaurot, Keeper of the Lake

Bardam and Aurum Vale.

Don't care that Aurum got a revamp recently. I'd rather set my head on fire while my body is submerged in acid than go there one more time.

Bardam because that first pull almost always triggers me for one reason or another and the 2nd boss is something that should be in Hall of the Novice over a dungeon.

Darkhold that level range is scuffed on any job, went through as SAM recently and you only get 2 stickers

Mount Gulag, just hate the trash in that place Dohm Meg is a close 2nd for me

WoD is defo up there in terms of blacklisting along with LotA.

I would blacklist ... well, all the extreme trials in Mentor Roulette.
Ramuh EX and Garuda EX if I had to pick, since they're the two sprouts are most likely to wander into without knowing what an Extreme Trial is.

Fucking Dzemael Darkhold and Keeper of the Lake
Dzemael I hate with every cell of my body, and Keeper of the Lake would be ok if 1/3 of the dungeon didnt have the worst, most annoying, most grating, beep ever. Many dungeons with the Garleans have this beep, but at least I don't see them as often.

Two wouldn't be enough. I'd love to blacklist every ShB and EW dungeon except the first and last msq dungeons. Every StB dungeon except The Burn. Every Heavensward MSQ dungeon. And thanks to the duty support rework, I'll add ARR MSQ dungeons to the list.

Mentor: I haven't actually unlocked mentor but based on what I heard about it, I would take all of the Extreme Trials out. Synced Extreme trials are extremely difficult to do. it's not just about being able to do mechanics in those missions and then some. Trying to teach all of that to someone new would just take way too much time. Don't get me wrong, I love giving sprouts wholesome tutorial experiences in ARR dungeons but Extreme Trials are a completely different matter.

Expert Roulette:
Just Dead Ends. The bosses in that mission are INSANE and I am tired of listening to the blue bird adding to it. I could dance around Smileton's bosses for days on end when I'm farming my weekly tomes but if I don't constantly stay on my toes I easily get nuked to death in dead ends. Stigma/Legacy aren't too bad at all really. So yeah...just dead ends.

Leveling:
Keeper of the Lake (AS MELEE DPS)

OH MY GOD. I'm so surprised melee dpses don't complain about this mission. I feel so useless when I fight the gunship (second boss) as melee dps. I don't want to fight that boss as melee dps anymore! He has so much ground aoe denial that if i don't have a poking tool I can't do shit until the fire fields disappear. Monks be damned because they do not have a ranged attack at lvl 50. (Do they even get one at all?)

Between that and the dipshit tanks that keep getting me cleaved by the dragon adds when I keep trying to activate the shield to prevent mid-gar-what's-his-ugly-face from wiping us I've had it with this mission. I don't want it anymore.

MSQ
Tome rewards justify all three missions, no problems here. I just wish I could use more of my kits but they are lvl 50 missions after all.

Alliance Roulette:
Just labyrinth. CT and WoD don't bother me because CT's fast enough to forget it and I love Cerberus' mechanics in WoD.(I like doing crafty shit.)

I'm convinced labyrinth is the troll/griefing playground. Premades or whole alliances have been trying to goad/trick/mock people into trying to skip the second ancient flare on Phlegthon. I called them out on it one time and they called me a coward. I dont' understand where people get ideas like this. When you follow mechanics you always will win, irregardless of the time it takes to get it done. When you do stuff like this, win conditions are dependent on factors that players do not have evidence to justify it, but that is a discussion/rant for another thread. I'll just stop there.

The Eden Ramuh. I had an awful experience doing this one compared to the other eden raids. Most of it entirely my fault for trying to do it blind. I don't want to relive that ever again.

If I could get rid of anything from the mentor roulette it'd have to be the last two Nier raids, I don't mind the games themselves but those two 24mans are just so long and boring that I'd rather stay and wipe for 40 minutes in Nidhogg EX with people who refuse to listen.

None since it's not really a roulette anymore if we can pick and choose. I hate the Nier raids with a passion but I wouldn't block them if they were unlocked. I'm glad I have the option to ignore that questline on alts, though, so only my main has to suffer.

All of Crystal Tower. It is by far the most boring bunch of alliance raids in the game.

If it's dungeons: Praetorium and Meridianum. It'd probably be those regardless, though the latter could be substituted with Porta since it takes just as long and is more boring. Could probably swap it with Hells' Lid too, which shows up a lot for an optional dungeon.
