So when are they installing the Billboards out in Central Thanalan, or Middle La Noscea and such?
Sure would be neat to see Lodestone updates or Party Finder events splashed up there in game.

The ingame advertisements was a one time thing when you entered an inn. :^)
Can do it in Ul'Dah too! Slap a big flashing neon on the outside of the quicksand.
"Discord for feet"
Whaaat, you mean you haven't seen Limsa/Ul'dah chat in more popular servers! We've got billboards everywhere! Billboards galore!!!
Srsly tho, some of these club ads and FC ads that go on for a paragraph or two in say/shout feel like billboards forreal LOL. So big and obnoxious
I'm sure that'll go over well. RMT sellers will no longer need to spam in cities, it'll just be plastered on every billboard instead.
Party Finder already is nothing but one big billboard flashing ads for multiple groups.
Try using it, you might be surprised!
MapleStory 2 actually had a feature like that, you could claim a slot for an image for like an hour if I'm remembering right. When RMT wasn't being shown you'd see stuff like this:

This would actually be hilarious lol.
If they didn't acknowledge the drama at all and then just added this and then never responded to any questions about it.
Wouldn't this just fall under adventurer plates?
In general chat you kinda gotta expect it, I find weird political discussions or friends making in-jokes and loudly speaking in shout or say to be more annoying ( or emote spam... ).
I just have separate tabs for chat if it annoys me I swap over to party or FC chat.
In other news they nuked the main topic on the irl bilboard. Hmmm
The thing just got way blown out of proportion and escalated to ridiculous levels.
Even if SE doesn't want them to datamine their content and use their trademark I also don't think that they want to have people turn it into a massive '' controversy '' and escalate it into irl harassment and weird ingame troll campaigns.
That reflects poorly on them too if they take no action against it.
If SE wants to take legal action they will, it's not up to '' the community '' to decide and a lot of the behaviour towards the venue has been way overboard.
It's just time to move on tbh.
I dunno if they've nuked all of them but nuking threads about it is pretty understandable imo considering how serious it has gotten.
The more people lose their minds about it too the more the over the line behaviour escalates and becomes worse so it's better to just shut it down and not let that happen.
There's a certain level of hypocrisy from a lot of people to act the way that they do while at the same time criticize the venue for being weird, just be normal and behave ffs ppl.
