GM Popped in Uldah Yesterday :O!

GM appeared yesterday on Durandal only he was speaking french so not everyone understood him.

Petyr Winesome:Ah well I'm looking for information concerning recent events in Eorzea. For example it has come to my understanding that a certain prophet was seen recently. Have you heard anything about this?

Moonwalker Harakiri: Ha you want to talk about Ziuz no?

Petyr Winesome: It seems you have a hard time understanding. Perhaps when I return we shall have en easier time talking.

Petyr Winesome: Interesting ... Uncoloured pages ... What could he want with those pages?

Moonwalker Harakiri: That uncoloured page is part of book from a prophet on the run called Urianger that was held by the imperials

Petyr Winesome: I see... Did you see this Prophet? Did he have good news?

Moonwalker Harakiri: A story about the 7th Umbral Era , a fragment of the truth

Petyr Winesome: I see. The 7th Umbral Era. What do you think that meant, adventurer.

Moonwalker Harakiri: Hmmm nothing Good. I think it has a relation with that moon that keeps getting bigger.

Petyr Winesome: I've notice that the moon has'nt stoped getting bigger. This seems rather worrying.

Petyr Winesome: I will certainly note this for my article, Adventurer.

Moonwalker Harakiri: I hope that it won't fall on Eorzea soon

Petyr Winesome: We must never fall in despair, adventurer. We will persevere , as always.

I can't stand Petyr. Has no sense of humor and is incredibly defensive when you joke with him in a light hearted conversation. I later would just ignore him and talk with the Miqo'te chick when she appeared. At least she was fun to be around.

GMs need some cool looking armor like they had in XI. He doesn't look any different than a typical player.

It's role-playing, it be very dull if all the GM acted in the same way when talking to the playerbase lol. Heck it could be the same person playing both characters for all you know.

Actual GMs have unique armor. This character just has a GM symbol next to his name. He's not an actual GM. Just someone who is a reporter for The Mythril Eye and is controlled by a GM and talks to players about the Umbral events. Sometimes you're even written into the stories posted on the lodestone.

Think this is the achievement you get:

Krausus Dracul has assisted the Mythril Eye in securing an interview with Cid Garlond.

Yeah they give out a special firework you use on yourself when you're especially helpful and you can get that achievement. There was a random event I'd say... maybe 3 months ago? 4? Where an NPC was giving them out in exchange for mole meat for a short period of time. Now I think it's gone back to being a bit harder to obtain unless you're like a magnificent RPer and can get it out of these GM controlled PCs.

I like what they wear tbh, I mean they are not here to send you to jail and tell you off! xD

I find these journalist convos extremely dull and uniformative in general =/

In fact all the umbral era random events have been. I hope they get better as we get closer to 2.0.
