Request: smoke/fog machine

I dont care if it is a house items or an accessory or what else, but i need one of those things

*put down 10 or so at the entrance of my house*
*watch everyone suddenly complain about their game suddenly run 15 fps and lower*
*watch some clients actually crash*

Unless you want it to just be a static cloud of smoke, I think it's one of those things that is a lot more complicated to implement than you might expect. It's not going to move like real smoke unless it has some fancy programming.

more like it'll just lower your frame rate

it wouldn't be that hard to determine the size of the house and lay out smoke based on that
also ezpz if we want smog/smoke in a house render less objects/dynamic res
auto turn on that one option to not render objects in one's field of view and also probably pull back the distance of view as well to help render less
it is foggy after all

Is there fog anywhere in the game at all? I can't think of any moment that it's foggy.

Most any zone can have a "Fog" weather event.
Visibility is greatly reduced during that weather.
Fog + Nighttime is a real pain when scouting/searching for The Hunt marks.

Huh...I wonder if I just have those effects off or something cause I've never seen it. Then again I'm only in Major Cities these days and never really leave them.

yeah i dont want like a full area/map effect, i would like just idk some smoke under the character o a cloud of smoke near the character or something like this tbh
