Congratz, I won a small personnel as well but now I wish I had lost. I had the money to bid on a medium as a personnel but the biddings were an impossible choice so I took the better choice and bid in a lot with only 5 bidders and won. If I had just won a house last lottery can I bid on a larger house this round and how would I go about giving up the small to get a medium?

42 won, I was 145.

#sigh.

Didn't put in a bid this time because the plots I wanted were all taken.

Bid on a medium as a relocation. Once you are able to bid again.

My FC has tried, and failed, to bid on numerous plots. We will be staying in our small Shirogane plot for the foreseeable future.

No I did not win the 0.3% chance of winning the remaining houses on Zalera.

I don't think I've seen a result on a plot with more than 150 bidders result in higher number of 100 and above as winner. Winners has always been two digit numbers and nothing higher. Makes me wonder if result phase is not still broken.

There were over 400 bids on a private medium and number 83 won. I've entered three lotteries and all winners so far have been two digit numbers with 100 or more bidders competing.

Anyone with a 3 digit number as a winner?

I'm #96.

Medium lot in Lavender Beds, 384 entries last I checked.
I had numbers 176, 177, 178, 180, 181, and 284.
#185 won, and had a nice house built by the time I retrieved my sixth deposit. Congrats to them!

Next steps:

1. find next medium lot to bid enter lottery for
2. increase the housing fund from current 99 million gil to 120 million gil, and
3. level my three newest characters up through Stormblood so that all six characters can enter in Shirogane.

clicking the placard infront of empty lots tells you when the current round ends and the next round begins around 4 days later

Yes. There were only 3 small on my server up for bids and all had between 165 and 315 bids. 158 won on the one I had chosen

I'm just glad no one made a bid for my bridge since I changed servers. I now live comfortably under a new bridge in Gridania.

It feels like easier to bid on FC plots so no wonder there's alot of FC shells bidding since soon those FC ward become a private ward...

There were no personal plots in Ishgard or M/L plots anywhere else I would want to relocate to, so I didn't bid.

As in if you can bid again now or later then bid on a medium if one is open for bidding. Just this time it will be a relocation for you. Would be a good idea to still decorate yyour small house though.

Last round I had 3 entries on a small in Kugane, out of 210 or so total entries. I lost.

This round (July 10 start) I have made 8 entries on a small in the Lavender Beds. Last I checked there were 18 entries total, giving me about a 44% chance of winning, but there will almost certainly be more by the time the entry period closes. We'll see how it goes.

Was it in an FC ward? If so, maybe an FC had a lot of people enter the lottery for a lot of lots, won both the lot you're seeing and another one, and decided to go with the other one. The lost $16-20 million gil for the un-utilized "win" might not mean much to a successful FC.

Has anyone tried going after multiple lots at the same time from a single character, though? You can only have one, but can you try for more than one in a single lottery round?
If so, the above scenario might happen for a personal lot as well.

I finally got a house in Ishgard! Been waiting for this since Heavensward so I'm very excited. Building airships and subs is more work than I thought but I'll have something new to do for the next 6 months lol. This content was sitting there for years I never touched it.

On Zalera I know theres going to be a single small in the goblet.

And thats about it. Anything else will be houses that get unclaimed from this lottery.

Lost a 1/16 chance on one of the small Empyreums.
This was after waiting until the final day to bid on the house with the least amount of people. 15 was the lowest I could find.

Can someone please explain how anyone is even finding out whenever there's a new lottery? I have never seen any lodestone post about it, yet it seems the community just has psychic powers and knows whenever there's a new lottery.

All I've wanted since Heavensward was living in Ishgard. I went through the pain of getting a House, taking one I didn't even want in Shirogane hoping to just simply relocate. Now after multiple failed lotteries I just don't give a damn anymore. The last two I was off by 1 number. It is obvious I am NEVER going to get a home in the only place I ever wanted one. I have enough gil for a medium/large, might as well wait for one of those to open up where folks are too poor to afford one and there are less entries. Relocation shouldn't be subjected to lottery rules, sorry.
