I got the new Beast tribe mount but..

Why is the mount music the generic one? I was looking forward to the new theme song that's for the beast tribe through their mount, and when getting it, I find out it's just the generic mount music. Is this a thing for each of the beast tribe mounts? If so is there anyway to make it the theme song of the beast tribe instead? I love the upbeat music when I do the Arkasodara Tribe dailies, and I was looking forward to the mount sharing their song.

This thread makes me wish all beast tribe mount is associated to their own tribal music, cuz you can only ever heard tribal music when you visit their locations. Having mounts playing their tribal music would be a nice moment to remember the journey so far.

Same with event mounts with seasonal event music.

It's normal to get the mount at 7 and for the story to end, but then it really ends with the 8th.

the main "story" ends at rank 7 and rank 8 is just a capstone quest/story.

only the namazu mount received special treatment in regards to music.

the rest is due to technical limitations regarding the allocation of music to mounts.

Were you expecting a glowing mount from Ex? It has been known since the 6.1 was announced.
It is just on the same level as all beast tribe mounts.

me too as i love "Hippo Riders" but until the devs figure out a long term solution to the memory problem of allocating mount music it won't be anytime soon.

What gave you that idea? OP is asking why there's no beast tribe music like the Namazu mount.

What technical limitations? EX1/2 mounts, p4s mount were released in 6.0 and ALL had boss music. The last EX mount was released in the SAME patch cycle and uses the boss theme. Can we stop using "technical limitations" as an excuse for everything?

I think they have said in the past that there is a limit to how many songs they can use for mount music overall? In which case there's nothing stopping them from giving unique music to any one mount, but they have to be sparing with which ones get it. Apparently EX/savage mounts fall within the "music budget" while beast tribe mounts don't.

Iscah is right. Look up Soken's explanation in an earlier Live Letter. I think it was #42? don't know for sure. but he does explain it.

Tribal quests reward the mount at level 7 Sworn reputation and then maximum is level 8 Bloodsworn reputation. We didn't see it in Shadowbringers, but Bloodsworn in the adventuring tribes is required for the allied tribal questline. Hopefully we'll see the return of an allied questline in Endwalker.
