Low Level Players (Group)

Hey All! I just re-subbed for 3 months to give the game a go. So far the changes seem to be worthwhile. I've attached myself to "The Resistance" LS to try and find people to play with. I am more a social player and hate playing solo content all the time. Just wondering if anyone else out there has anything 1-17 they want to setup a static level party or something. Help me get into the full swing. Just a casual group to enjoy and re-learn the game for me. I'm kinda rusty, haven't really played since launch when i stopped for a long time.

To be honest, there is little purpose in in partying before 20.

Just get over that hump, and you'll be fine.
If you're that eager to party, find a PL party.

Why? Games are always more fun with other people, there are the Leves that can be done grouped and chained XP, why do I have to hit 20+ to play the game how I want to?

^ i feel you on that. IMO you can party up at any level. Actually in the lower levels it's fun to party with others around the same level, doing low level levequests or behests.

Also too, PL needs to be done away with. COMPLETELY. It totally ruins the game to max ur char in a few days. You don't fully get to experience the class/job and what it can fully do if you just rush straight through it without actually playing it.

I'm a new player as well. I set up a character on Ridill, but now that other servers have opened back up I'm thinking about creating my main on another server. Of course, I'd be level 1, but if that's okay with you I could create a character here on Durandal.

Hello there Mippins, i like you im a returning player just payed for a couple of months to enjoy the new changes of the game, my main character is lv 32 but im training other classes and i would like to have a regular party for casual game play, so if you like we can party and play together everytime we can, im not sure if i can teach all that much about the game because im a little rusty myself, (i stopped playing way before the free period ended) so lets re learn together what you say? :)

I'd totally be up to play with you anytime. I'm trying to create a well rounded single character that will be whatever I need so I'm always going to be leveling up. Sounds fun!

21 Archer here. I would love to play with people and explore some of these low level dungeons!

Invite me has a friend too plz, I just came back to the game since January 2010 and i'm so lost and confuse and would love to play with new ppl again at low level to level up all my jobs!!! my in game is Lil Man

Just a note, if any of you are EU players or operate on GMT, we at Knights of the Round are actively recruiting lower level members. We've had a good influx of new members within the past couple of weeks and are grouping up for EXP parties as well as PL parties hosted by our more experienced members ^^

I know this is a semi old thread but I gotta chime in because I just recently started playing two weeks ago, to hopefully get the legacy deal, get in get lvled and find an LS to hang with before 2.0 hits so ill be ready to tear into it!

Well for the past two weeks every LS i have approached even some in a EXP party (Not PL) pretty much said sorry we don't want to have anything to do with you unless you're lvl 50 and ready for end game...

First off, this is crazy to me coming from an MMO point of view, you don't just want to rent a character who is max lvl and you know nothing about this guy/girl... I would rather have someone join my LS who is low lvl and who can grow with the LS and possibly be loyal because of that.. Now if people get referred to you, or you find Max LVL players willing to join because of your reputation. That's something you should be proud of and what gives a starter LS the room to grow..

Sure, there are those players out there that can be flaky or just want to find an LS for EXP/PL but if that's the case and that player doesn't pay it forward then you boot him out, easy as that...

Last but not least, I would think the FFXIV community would want LS like this to bring in new players, FFXIV is not your average MMO and it definitely does not have a good reputation by the way It opened up its doors in 2010.. But coming from someone who played at beta then gave it two other chances... Im glad to be back they have made a ton of improvements and really looking forward to 2.0..

If there is a LS like mentioned above on the Durandal server I would love to join, If not, anyone who wants to add me to friends and needs help lvling id be glad to join up! There are so many jobs out there to be lvled I think i could have a job at any lvl if you needed it ; ) Im usually on evening/late night CST time, if you wanna group or even start up an LS ive been tossing around that idea as well!
