You mean like floor tanks back flipping off the platform at a boss fight? I haven't done that yet somehow with mine, feel like it's harder to do than what people let on.

RDM. Backflipped off Titan hard’s platform.

Doma castle. Tank.

Thought I had clicked Arms Length and was clearing the aoe lines so the DPS with the proximity-based AOE could run back to the safe area without having to wait.

Sent myself hurtling across the arena and then took the proximity aoe point blank.

Also P2S with the arrows. Just... Yeah. If you know, you know.

I used to dash off the edge of leviathans platform when playing dancer.

When i accidentally pressed the wrong button (Elusive Jump woops lol) during the fight with Rhalgr in Aglaia raid xD

I honestly can't remember the first time I Repelling Shot off something and I still haven't learned my lesson and will accidentally put it somewhere I can fat-finger it at the worst possible moment when I rearrange my hotbars. The latest was sailing right off the side in Eden Prime before I moved it someplace I had to mouse click to use.

I started with dragoon so i supposed i yeeted myself in the first duty that allow us to fall from the edge of the arena !

Been too long though, can't remember ;D

I have no memory of such.

Yep same, I thought 'surely if i stand right in the middle of the platform I wont fall off'. I found out.

I don't remember the first time because I've been playing for so long, but the most recent one in memory was when I instinctively used Icarus on Sage when fighting Rhalgar after he did the big purple knockback and slipped between the fingers.

Recently, on Eden's Gate Inundation, the center of the arena was gone and I thunderclapped as a monk straigth into the abyss.

I think I used RDM's Displacement into the zombie wall in Rabanastre one time.

Not the first time but probably the most noteworthy. Taking some fc members through diamond weapon when it came out. I had cleared and they hadn't so I was like "yeah we'll be fine just follow me". I was red mage. I then proceeded to yeet myself off the platform during my opener. They found it funny, I was embarrassed though.

Aside from that, just yesterday I was doing Endsinger and accidentally AFK sprinted off the platform whilst dodging the heads in Twinsong’s Aporrhoia.

Does charging in count? Because the number of times I've Corps a Corps'd or Shoulder Tackled or whatever into Suzaku without noticing that, for some reason, the tank's moved her just enough off of the hole in the middle of the platform......

After playing BRD, RDM and DRG, I literally forget how many times I've yeeted off platforms, let alone the first time.

My more impressive one was during one of the Stormblood Dungeons as RDM. Can't remember the dungeon (could be Doma Castle?) where the boss produces alternate lines on the floor which then expand sharply and if you're hit you get knocked back? Well, yours truly jumped back into one just as the action went off, proceeding to yeet me not once, or twice, but ping-pong me back and forth several times right before I landed in front of the boss and eating it's cleave in the face. The party ended up wiping because the healer was laughing too hard at what they'd just witnessed. :)

NIN is the ONLY job I haven't yeeted myself with that has yeet ability, and that is specifically because of the ground targeting. If there is a way to derp, a-derping I will go.

However, I've heard that if you macro Shukuchi, it teleports you to the center of the boss's target ring instead of directly in front it, which in some cases can kill you. You can't do this manually, so to see a NIN yeet themselves with Shukuchi is a yeet I have yeet to see.

Once with RDM for the extra damage in ShB; I pretty much don't use those abilities anymore now.

"Can you fall off this ledge?" I ask every single time AFTER I fall of the edge before even starting a new encounter.

Those days when falling damage could be fatal so ppl jumped off things to see if it would kill them or not...

As someone who will find a way to yeet myself somehow if it can be done, I approve of this thread.

Well honestly can't remember the first I can share the most recent.

DSR door boss. We have placed clouds and the bosses have dropped back down and being moved back to the middle for "playstation". I have my displacement and engagement actions on the same key but with the shift key as a modifier. Went in and didn't hit shift fast enough and went back flipping into a cloud ZAP DED.

Healers were pog and I got up in time for playstation but we missed the dps check. FeelsMemesMan

Years ago as dragoon in Titan trial by accident. I used to poke fun of my friend who mains drg so karma bit my assfor it lol.
