Lalafells are too cute. I want to give them all head pats and I like it when people do that to my lalafell in random dungeons, too.

One time, someone complimented my Lalafell for looking cute because she was wearing the Krile outfit. That made me very happy, because I also thought my lalafell was very cute in it as well and it was really nice to be reassured that others thought the same thing. :)

There are definitely items that even though can be worn by anyone, only look good on a Lala. They certainly do have a charm that is all their own. Both good and bad.

I've a love/hate relationship with retail. On one hand I get to meet a ton of people and without the job I would never see nor talk to anyone in person.

On the other hand though I see a LOT of stupid people who have no grasp on what critical thinking is. Thankfully I'm so needed at my job that I don't really have to fake being nice.

I work at a retro gaming store in Phoenix and I enjoy what I do for the most part. If things are slow I'll just pop in a good game play video and just watch that.

It all started back in 2020, no not covid-19. I'm talking about that period where people were hyping FF7R up to the point I got interested in trying it out and to see if the hype is real or not, but guess what? It's PS exclusive! Great....

For me a steam player, why are there so many exclusives standing in the way of me having fun? Why not allow everyone to play whatever they want without these stupid artificial limitations? Granted, PS and Xbox are to this day waging a console war and they have to win it. But if you want me to say something, it is that all of these exclusives and console wars are stupid nonsense that hasn't contributed anything to the industry other than limited access, redundant devices, and higher prices.
Limited access is self-explanatory, while redundant devices are having more than one gaming console to just play some games, and guess who I blame for higher prices? PS! Always the market leader in increasing prices. Milking their playerbase and encouraging other gaming companies to increase the price. How is it acceptable for 8-12 hours-long games to be sold for over 70$? This pure greed is just causing harm while not contributing to any improvements. I wish these exclusivity barriers to dissipate, because when they do the average prices of games will slightly decrease, and gaming competition will become fiercer than ever. PS players having access to Steam library, Xbox players having access to Nintendo library, PC players having access to PS library will shake the whole industry and spin it in a new better direction where companies will start competing over producing high-quality games at affordable prices and also on producing better hardware. No more shall there be stupid remakes for the same game every couple of years. No more shall some players be left behind. No more high prices. No more insane focus on graphics quality over gameplay quality. No more old console titles and games get left behind in the dark.

A man can dream....

Anyways to vent: People are so stupid, that I can't understand how they can even function on a day to day basis. Retail has opened my eyes to this, and even when trying to be as nice as possible, my patience is constantly tested. Even now I'm dreading getting up since I have to go into work early and work with a coworker who isn't much help at all and makes everyone else do the work for him. Makes me wonder why he didn't get fired yet, but apparently we "Need any help we can get"...

Aside from that; life in general is stressful. Both of my parents, particularly my dad needs surgery for stuff that we can't afford, his car just broke, and college had to be put on hold since my parents, particularly my dad needed help. My mother just got her surgery earlier and we're still trying to pay that at least. I'm just really tired/stressed.

But on the bright side, I'm getting closer to maxing out all combat classes on my main. Though I keep getting distracted by creating alts!

My blood pressure is 156/105, I've been told that that's near the point of heart attacks and all that.

But on the plus side I started walking down the road again and will start lifting weights again in a couple days, trying to lose weight and cut down on how much fast food I eat so I can get my blood pressure under control.

It Does Count. Gosh Mosquitoes Are Awful! It's Crazy This Year With Them!

The Kenobi show is a perfect example of why people need to stop supporting garbage, I dunno how anyone can unironically watch it and think it's good it legit feels like a high school project.
It's the same with games too people keep buying the same trash over and over again and even complain about it themselves but then keep buying.
Have some self-respect and self-control, please.

Once I made the suggestion of beast master being a job revolved around capturing and releasing as the main gameplay concept of the job because that's how Beast masters are portrayed in the franchise. It took me an hour to conceptualize it from scratch!
Basically, it starts as a limited job where you go into the open world and capture a beast, and each type of beasts in the open world does give a different release action, and they work identically to Bozja's lost actions. You go out, capture a beast, and they give you 10 stacks of a certain action (Like 400 potency healing) with the animations of releasing the beast out.
"But it's a limited job! Limited job sucks!" and yes they do sucks, but you know what? It gives more depth to the open world and then I also suggested an unlimited mode for beast masters where the actions they have are balanced and already selected from the limited job actions (Not all but just some of them) with unlimited stacks.
So me, someone in the forum, in one hour made a great idea of a job that captures the spirit in the franchise. And what does YoshiP say in general regarding classic jobs? "Let's make original jobs which has never been featured in any FF games before"

You know what, I have a vent. I'm tired of listening to the same old music mixes. I had K/JPop & R&B for a while, vaporwave and synthwave, funk, jazz, video game mixes, ect, now I'm on a loop of listening to the same mixes while studying. I need to find new ones, but my pickiness hasn't got a hit yet. It's a tough world out there when the Lo-fi and ambient soundtracks just put me to sleep.

I grew up on an old farm outside of Kupo Kush City. Warm Summers and mild Winters.. The sent of boiled kupo nuts filled the streets... I was a wee moogle and went to school like most moogles at Mog Elementary where I met my first teacher Mrs. Kinderkupo. She was very nice and always had kupo kupcakes....
