Cant wait for the next cycle wheres theres like 2 houses left and 600 entrants on each.

There were only 5 Medium houses left on the server, 2 of them with 120 bids on each, rest 3 with 60 bids each. Lost my chance for a plot for a third week. No more medium private plots for now but SURE let's have ghost wards for FCs created by bots or the extremely rich ones. I'm not being salty..just very gutted over this. Each week the same disappointment...

Considered bidding for Small one instead? Better a smol then nothing.

Won 18mil this round. Was bid 6 or 7 for a medium FC house, number 8 won the house.

I won the door prize of 3.18M gil.

The limit on outdoor items you can place on small plots is a joke. A medium plot is what i wanted but oh well. I should just give up with the whole housing idea.

Hey, how do I get my gil back for a losing bid. I'm at the sign for the Lot I bid on and it just shows the info for the person who claimed it. No option to get my gil back.

I might give up on trying to get a medium for my FC, and just grab a small next time around. This last round, I checked a couple of the smalls in Ishgard, and they had 0 bids...I'll probably look around to see if there are any mediums still available next time near the end for any that have very few bids, and maybe try that...or just find a small that has 0 bids and go for that

If it is the plot you bid at it would come back with the message like the OP has. Otherwise, you may be at the wrong plot. Double check under your Timers menu which plot it is, then double check where you are at.

We won a small and lost on a medium. on the medium #72 won we were #5. 72 was the last bid so it is truly a lottery

was #4, #18 won the little plot in Shiro I bid on. Unless someone doesn't claim their plot, or someone relocated from another plot to one of the open ones from one in a personal ward, there will be no houses left on my server. They all had bids on them. And I checked every one lol. This was smalls, meds, and larges included.
But almost all the smalls in the FC wards in Empy are empty! And there are advertisements on the party finder for people paying people to join an FC for 30 days and then they can leave. So that's cool! :rolleyes:

If you are at the correct lot where you bid, it will give you a prompt.
So, you either won, in which case grats; or you're at the wrong plot/ward.

I checked timers and I'm at the correct plot. When I click on the placard it just shows the info of the person who claimed the plot and no option to reclaim my gil.

Round 3: depressing. 77 entries. Last few houses are gone now.

third week, third time not being able to move from a small to a medium, I'm getting actually frustrated now, especially seeing that there are so many FC plots in ishgard that are still just plain empty.

make sure you are on the right server, in the right housing district, and check you didn't get ward and plot backwards. I haven't herd of anyone else having issues getting their gil back at all the last few rounds.

i have a FC house and iam neither a bot nor extremely rich, i had to drain all the gil from my alts just to buy it

Not sure what is wrong. I only have one character. I have never moved/visited other worlds ever. I am at plot 54 22nd ward Goblet which matches my timers window info and nothing.. click the placard and it shows the info for the person that moved in. No option for gil, no view results. I guess I'll put in a bug report and see what they say.

I was 1 of 226 that bid on one of the 4 personal mediums left on my server. I lost, what a surprise! :rolleyes:

It is very frustrating to see all these empty smalls in the FC wards that weren't even bid on this round. I don't think my FC ward even had 1 bid on a small. I'd love a medium but at this point I'd rather have a small than nothing.

Mixed results; the company we are in won its medium free company house (only bidders on it, because Goblet :D) but my husband lost out on his bid for a small personal house in Kugane; there were 36 other bidders so no surprise really.

My result is "not clicking a placard non-stop for 12-24 hours and not winning."

Instead, I click a placard once, whenever I feel like it and come back later and collect my gil. I also get to keep my sanity. Much better system. We can't all be winners though.

Not really, no, at least for most people. Smalls are...incredibly small, unfortunately, as one would expect. Medium plots are better suited for a solo player's wants/needs, though that is just my opinion. Not too big, not too small. Just right. In my opinion, they need to add wards with a focus on mediums and larges if they really do intend to stick with the ward system. It would obviously require a bit of a redesign of the wards themselves, but I feel it would be beneficial. Or even better, let us upgrade our own plots. Again though, that would probably require a bit of a revamp of every district's design.

i was number 5 for the last large house in the server, last week was the last for personal and i lost it, this week was the last for fc, and i lost to number 22...

Not to rehash my complaint from last week -- but, man... this sucks.

This new system is an improvement upon the old one but with how few plots there are and how rapidly dwindling empty plots are the bidding numbers are getting absurd. I'm trying to get a small plot and bid on the lowest bidded upon small plot on my server -- which had about 45 bids when I looked a couple hours before the draw.

There simply isn't enough housing for those who want it.

So you went from 0% chance to .01% chance. I dont think that warrants much praise.

Hubby lost on the last private L_plot. About 208 bidders so we did not really think we would win, but better just try and lose instead of doing nothing.

What left me with mixed feelings is the disadvantage Steam-Users now have, when bidding on FC-Plots. At least I think it's a Steam Account vs Non-Steam account issue. since an ingame-friend of mine was able to bid on his FC Plot with his alts from the same account, being in the same FC, same for another member in this FC. I tried the same thing and the game told me I can't bid with the same account again, which is the way it should be anyway but since this friend told me he was able to bid with alts I tried too but to no avail and the only difference would be that I play via Steam and my friend does not. Is this a bug? Working as intended? I really don't know anymore =/

I was Number 10. Number 57 won the plot. I just wish SE would acknowledge that there is a VERY serious problem with housing supply. Their silence on this issue creates a bad atmosphere hanging over this game. As I have said in other posts, the need for a place to call home, is instinctive in most humans. It should not have come as a surprise to SE then, that when housing was opened up for personal use in this game, people embraced it, even though it is just virtual. When SE opened up housing for personal use, they opened up a Pandora's box that they can never close again.

Lost 3rd medium. First was something like 16 people, the almost 200. Last was close to 90 cuz goblet.

Would rather have had first come first serve for new housing and lotto for relinquished land. No hours clicking but could get on and grab one quickly at release.

Can't, no more houses on Balmung.

This is by far the worst thing about housing. I'll never get over it, lol

Lost again and all the personal plots on Lich are taken now. FC wards are still a relative ghost town and even some of the empty FC plots that were vacated are yet to be populated, smalls at least anyway. I'm probably a little late to the party, or they'll change the FC-personal split before then, but I might just ditch my FC to make my own so I can buy one of these uncontested small plots for my own personal FC house. Everyone I want to play with is on my friends list anyway.

I didn't even look at Empyreum this time. Found a Large in Mist, ended up being me vs 120+ people.
I'm in Spain, but without the S.

Didn't win the last medium in a non FC ward. Neither did an FC mate. At least 207 people bid on it. Might suffer this next round just in hopes to get the heck out of the goblet. Mostly just because I loathe the chunky sand colored pillars of the Oasis style.
