Do you want Bi-colored gem system scaled to lower levels?

I do. It makes lower-level FATE's existence feel more meaningful instead of just relic farming fodders of max-level players, or Yokai event farming.



It also helps players to get Riding Speed boost in ARR/HW/SB before they unlock flying, which is currently gated behind old currencies (Allied Seals, Centurion Marks), which is much harder to grind as people no longer/rarely make trains for these. Playing BLU resolve the Allied Seals supply at least, but by the time you have it, you already unlock flying in ARR and no longer need any Riding Speed for ARR regions.


Consider it will take a very long time for NEW players to get Flying in ARR regions normally, especially exploration style who take it slow, any Riding speed boost that cut down travel time is a big help.


Also an excuse to add some fluff items to older regions.

Yes, absolutely. It was a great way to give a reason to do FATEs again. And it could make things like working on old relics attractive if you could also get gemstones while farming for atmas or anima crystals.

I 100% want them to introduce the bicolor gem system into all levels of fates. I would love if they had constant rewards but rewards that changed every so often so that it encouraged people to keep doing fates for the new rewards as well.

Absolutely, yes. There are so many things I need to the gemstones to buy and lots of rank to earn, but it hurts my heart to run FATEs on my level 90s and I'm tired of running roulettes/Deep Dungeons to get to level 70 for the ShB FATEs.

I don't think they need to scale gemstone earning down as all the FATEs in ShB and EW award the same amounts based on participation. Full participation is full participation, regardless of the level.

I think that would be nice, I also think it could go along with an overhaul of multiple systems to culminate in just plainly a more rewarding open world experience.

The short of the long being taking systems like challenge log, hunt log, treasure hunting, FATEs, beast tribes, sightseeing log, and bringing them together into a more cohesive whole while also remixing each element (for example all now being neatly organized into a "field guide" that changes per zone, perhaps taking the idea of shared fate levels and making it more macro scale with interactions with the other related content in that space, achievements, adding tetra npc tracking for card card collecting convenience, making the hunting log relate to the hunting content people actually do (rather than the classes added in ARR), consider changing sight seeing into more of a point of interest system with things beyond "/emote here", etc.

I want to say yes, but in the same vein, I also know that after the initial hype of it, the amount of people engaging in FATEs drops significantly. Personally, I'd rather they rework FATEs into something much grander than just a temporary enticement

Sure but can we also make the cap higher?

Maybe adding some vendors atleast to the main cities with some new purchasable items that fit the themes for those zones as well.

I want to see an FC action and 2h long scroll equivalent that increases bi-color gems earned when completing relevant FATEs.

The gems system you mentioned is great and I'd like to add something else. What about adding a WB after defeating a certain amount of fates? The rewards can be glam, titles, mini side stories(zone lore), housing items, etc.

100% yes. Add in monster drops for every expansion while you are at it so we don't need to spend forever trying to get mats from say gazelle skin. As someone who makes a ton of gear for leveling people there are certain monster mats you just grumble at having to go grind compared to "Go do some fates and here is what you need."

Previous areas do need the same treatment now that we've seen how they tied fates with monster drops in ShB & EW.

It certainly makes going for older items a boring task of murdering monsters for random drops.
Same thing with upping the limit of gems :D
