$99+ New Monthly Subscription Proposal

I think there should be a $99 monthly FFXIV regular subscription, and $14.99 and other present subscriptions be a 'privilege' for new accounts & accounts with no violations or infractions.

For example, a FFXIV Gamer does an violation against the TOS. That account loses the 'privilege' to pay the $14.99 monthly fees, and charges.

This could be easily implemented by announcing raised monthly FFXIV subscription prices of $99+, but new accounts less than 6 months & older accounts with no violations paying the old subscription prices.

I think this implementation would curve nefarious activities among FFXIV gamers, while rewarding good behavior.

Your thoughts?

I think your implementation would reward those that havent been caught. sure, many people follow the rules, and have no infractions. but given the number of fairly obvious bots, who operate for months and years... you are rewarding them as well, which cheapens the entire idea.

so the idea alone would cause people to look at SE even more as a bunch of money grubbers. not to mention, make it even MORE difficult to have any reports actioned on because now there is account issues involved and people's money.

think I will have to guess this idea didnt spend enough time in the oven as it would have a huge detrimental impact on the playerbase, and the game in general.

How about no? It's expensive enough as it is for gas and pizza.

Months. People tend to latch onto these things for months. Then in a year or two someone(we all know who) will drag this up from the depths and start drama.

Can we demand a refund from the OP for the time we spent looking at this thread?

On a more serious note in regards to subs tho. I wouldn't mind it if they did bundling options of doing 3/6/12 months at a time that discounted the overall cost vs paying monthly or made functionality to add service accounts for FFXI or DQX as a bundle option at a discounted rate.

Don't they already do that? If you pay 3/6/12 months you pay the cost of an "entry" sub with the benefits of the full subscription.

Maybe I missed it earlier looking through mogstation. I hadn't actually accessed it since they did the facelift on the account page

ah. 1/3/6... discount though on bundle kinda sucks lol save $1 per month doing 3, $2 per month doing 6.

Atleast PSN discounts it by about 50% if you buy a whole year at a shot XD

That kill the game fast. The game should have a 1-year sub fee that have to pay each year to keep playing. If you break TOS make it a 1 month ban the first time. Which doubles after the first time you break it.
