Love the moon aspects of it, the tragic story, a tragic villain whom had the potential to be someone else yet ironically she became that “someone” else out of amnesia,

Fate couldn’t get any more crueler & yet something very beautiful & sinister of both aspects.

PS: only part of Stormblood I enjoyed

Susano. I tend to alway gravitate towards characters like him who are always jolly and or have a love for battle. And Susano is a combination of both! Plus, his song is very catchy, too. :3

Ramuh is a big, concerned sylph daddy with a god tier beard and i adore it :D

Ramuh, the one that's a beard with an old man attached

His theme is great and there's a bit of nostalgia for me for being the first primal we encounter that was wise and reasonable. But he's always kind of been a favorite in FF games in general for me, too.

His replica weapons are my favorite glams. Hard to beat that crackling lightning effect.

Ravana. When you meet him he offers to help you out! Though we have to fight him he sticks to his word about the deal even when resummoned for the extreme fight, waiting patiently for your rematch according to the text. Plus he's got two awesome themes, decent weapons and good mechanics

Ravana and Susano.

Ifrit, he has a cool monterous look, I could see him in a Godzilla movie, plus the fire aspect is really cool and he's been an iconic enemy in FFXIV.

Alexander, because I'm a sucker for giant robots.

Zurvan, for his awesome voice work.

Ravana, because the "noble demon" trope is fun.

Susano, for his jovial attitude.

As far as my favorite trial goes, it's a toss-up between WoL and... Byakko XD

idk I just really love Byakko's fight, along with the rest of the Four Lords

Ruda as she's a great song.
Bahamut prim because Answers.
and of cause Sinryu because it's our boy Zenos

Garuda.

Love the weapons designed around her, I love her music track ('Fallen Angel') and I love how sassy the benevolent (summoned at Sharlayan) version was!

Raktapaksa.

Because polymerization, elemental hero flame wingman, Yugioh I summon you.

Tsukuyomi, Shinryu, Hades and Endsinger. The fights have cool mechanics and the music is great. They have tragic backstories and Shinryu was also the first extreme I did on my own when it was current content (without being carried by the fc).

Tsukuyomi and Shiva.

Sophia! For her symbolism and story... and I like anything related to Azys Lla.

Or Shiva because she is cool and E8 has amazing music.

Zodiark. Protected the planet for over 12k years and i find it horribly sad that he hardly gets any credit for it whatsoever. I enjoy his story though how little of it there is and his design is pretty neat.

Favorite primal of all time is Sophia. I love her fight, and I love the music. I did that fight at least 300 times when it was relevant.


Other notable ones I like are
- Tsukuyomi (also for the fight and the music)
- Ramuh (music and his disposition as a primal)
- Suzaku (music and EX fight)
- Sephirot (music and EX fight)
- Zurvan (music and because he has the best line in the entire game when it comes to farming EXs: “Suffer in endless torment”)
- Hades (music and the fight and Emet-Selch is tied with Ardbert for being my favorite character in this game)
- Level 89 EX (music and fight - but music especially)

Ravana. Hands down. I love everything about him. From his design to his theme to his fight mechanics.

Garuda. Booty.

Susano to. I really enjoyed that EW cutscene.

Sephrot

1. He has a "this isn't my final form" moment
2. His music is metal
3. it made Powerman 5000 mad and that was funny
4. has 6 arms

Zodiark firstly. Following those, if we're not talking actual primals, Hades - his boss design is one of my fave in a FF game. If we're talking about maybe-not-a-primals, Nald'Thal.

Other than those? Hesperos's vamp form, Elidibus in his primal form, Tsukuyomi, Sephirot and Sophia.

Susano. Jovial character who isn't trying to take over the world or anything, he just wants a friendly fight. Good character design and voice.

I have always liked Leviathan, from seeing it the first time in FF8 I thought its colors and design were really pretty

But I also love Anima bc FFX I do feel that Anima should have had more of an impact bc that portion of the MSQ is eerie and has this oncoming looming presence of doom that felt squandered somewhat.
Daivadipa is gorgeous in design, I wish it was a trial so we could see it without 100 WOL and their minions crowding to get a hit.
