Just my personal opinion but I think its time to get an area in 7.0 that is similar to how Revenants Toll and Idyllshire grew with the patches of 2.0 and 3.0. Would anyone else like to see some better world building for endgame hubs again? Honestly as interesting as building the Doman Enclave and the Firmamant was they just didnt have the same spirit or charm.
Whats everyone's thoughts or ideas?

Thankfully Kugane with Endwalker got an Airship Landing that lets you connect with the rest of the game. -

It was fun while it was happening for the players that were there, sure. But it has a bit of a disconnect if you're going through the story later. Bringing in the Domans to help build Revenant's Toll is dissonant when the entire town is already a massive fortress when you get there the first time. Encountering the "backwater" of Idyllshire in the Heavensward story with just a few goblins there is similarly strange when you get there now and see a whole city.
I think the developers recognized this when Stormblood came out and opted to just give fully developed end game hubs right from the start. Not only is it less jarring for the player, but it's an easy piece of development to cut. There's little benefit to making a new setup for the end game zone that will be deleted completely a few months later never to be seen again. Design and build it once, and then those resources can be used for other purposes. -

Doman Enclave was the way this was handled in Stormblood. It's a unique zone for each person, if I understand it right, so someone who walks in there the first time still sees all the rubble, and has the option to rebuild it from scratch.
Then they made the variant on the original style one with Firmament, and each person having to help rebuild the city. It was an incredible experience to see the new housing district form one patch at a time, and to participate in the rebuilding via the FATES. It's a shame that no one else will get to experience it ever again. -

As a late arrival to the game, I really feel like the finished state of those towns gives a disconnect between what people say and what the town looks like.
I'm disappointed that they went back to it for the Firmament, too.
