Legacy Campaign: Has the 8 Chars per server started?

This may be a stupid question (has never stopped me before) but has the Legacy Campaign already started?

I had 2 extra inactive characters but now they appear to be active. Are we now allowed our 8 characters per server or is it a glitch?

I do not want to log in with those characters until I see an Official Response from a Dev (because I do not want to get charged, just in case).

also: If we can start our extra characters now, do we still need to go through the Square Enix Account page to activate our extra slots?

That won't start until 2.0.

Were they inactive (not deleted) for the past 10 days? If so, that was due to the Welcome Back campaign.

Oh Ok. That makes sense because they have been inactive since they started billing.

But I still have a question: Are they on a 30 day trial but will be charged after that only to be made free come 2.0?

I suppose I should delete them and free up 2 slots for Excalibur....Any Offers? lol

I think it was only for those ten days. If they're still playable, then maybe they were given a 30-day trial...who knows with SE xD

If it helps, I had a char I deleted prior to charging and every time I log in I have a spot that says "new". If I click on it, it tells me activation is required ataccount page first. So I think if u try logging in with an inactive character you would probably get the same message.

Was confused about this as well, my empty slot was free to use all of the sudden. But yes, it was because of the Welcome Back campaign.

Your characters are active because of the welcome back campaign. It was specifically stated that if you had any inactive characters, they would be available for the duration of the campaign.
