What is the deal with...

Random people literally taking zero damage from 3 ultimates being piled upon them when they aren't using guard or anything of the sort?

Literally every other match trying to break into crystal has been the usual WHM bug abusers, immune to CC/teleport glitching and what not but being literally invincible was something I rarely ran into but now it is all over the place.

Ran into the same bard 4 times in a row that just took zero damage from anything, including a MCH ultimate lol.

The only legitimate situations I can think of this happening in are:

1: They were standing in a SGE LB, which works like other beneficial field effects in that it lingers briefly after you step out of it. Therefore, if you try to LB someone immediately after it disappears there's still a chance they won't take any damage unless you have the Lype debuff from running into the circle yourself.

2. They're being covered by a PLD.

If there's neither of the jobs in the game, then I'm inclined to think there's some manner of hack/exploit involved.

I'd try taking note of their status bar to see if there's anything there that doesn't belong, since as far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be any way for them to take no damage without being able to see what the cause is. They've previously had silly exploits with people smuggling invincibility buffs out of other instances, so it wouldn't surprise me if something slipped through the cracks again.

I haven't seen a SGE or PLD all night. The only other healer I have seen besides WHM was AST and the only tank I've seen besides WAR is DRK.

I've noticed it too and have no answer. Sometimes a PLD can chain them but that'll kill the PLD more often than not.

I have noticed on NIN and sometimes SAMs, the occasional MNK. I am not familiar with their kits but they tend perform damage immunity frequently, causing them to be tankier than most of the tanks. Wasn't as prevalent the first few days but its been increasingly so lately.

NIN has an extremely chunky 16K shield from Huton, and SAM can layer 16K worth of shields from Ogi Namikiri in similar manner if they're hitting multiple targets. The latter in particular can zero out even bigger hits in conjunction with Chiten's 50% damage reduction.

MNK has small, but spammable 6K shields from Thunderclap.

None of those are tanky enough to allowing people to soak things like MCH LBs without taking damage, though...unless they're being layered with shields from other sources like DRK's 8K TBN, WHM's 6/12K from Aquaveil and others.

Clips? Or can you post them without getting them removed for fun very normal forum rules

Even if I was recording PvP matches at all, it is considered witch hunting to post them.

Noticed this a lot as well. Have popped SAM LB on a MNK who had no buffs, no shield, nothing that could've mitigated damage (it goes through the shield anyway) and he took zero damage despite being hit by it. So many instances of people just not dying when they should, I legitimately am inclined to beleive something shady is going on.

If you guys would just show a single clip of these kinds of things, there are people who would be very happy to help you understand what's going on. But as it stands, without any gameplay to give you feedback on, this sounds like hyperbole.

Literally take 3 seconds to read the thread, and be less hyperbolic yourself. Holy crap.

We aren't allowed to post clips of people doing suspicious things cause it is considered witch hunting. It is okay though, cause that bard apparently got actioned 20 minutes ago according to someone I know in their FC discord. So yeah.

It's fine to post pictures/clips if the names are blurred/hidden.

If you see something unusual on buff bars or in the post match statistics that can point towards foul play without needing to bring up names it would be welcome.

I mean, we need more information. There's several legitimate ways players can achieve invulnerability for a limited time, namely through limit breaks. And then, of course, there's that old friend, Server Ticks.
