Before creating a post check if your subject hasn't already been addressed in the last few days.
There are a few megathreads about subjects below, please reply on them.

"Insert house related complaint here"
What? Have you thought house (ultimate) memes were just memes!? It's been an issue since forever. Your opinion has probably been already suggested by someone.
And "Ticket number 0 is the winner" is probably a bug.

"PvP is unbalanced and matchmaking sucks"
Yes, we know, PvP is a side content made for fun. There is no "PvP team balance", it's a mess but a fun and frustrating mess. Do not expect much, have fun while queue are below 5 minutes. Ranked PvP on a MMO should never be taken seriously.

"Insert healer complaint here"
Another problem that has plagued since it's conception. If you don't play savage or ultimate healing will get boring. Many suggestions has been made.

"Insert SAM drama here"
Yes, they dropped the ball, they already said that they will monitor the situation. Expect small changes next patch and rework on next expansion, sorry. DRK, WHM, MCH and many others through expansions says Hi.

"Dungeons are too simple and boring"
Yes, dungeons in FFXIV are a tool for story telling and dailies. They are not meant to be challenging content. Do not suggest Mega Dungeons, Heroic/Mythic difficulty or even Mythic+. Yoshi-P will just laugh and facepalm like he did before.

"I do not enjoy leveling process, rotation, raid style, etcetera..."
These are core aspects of the game, it will not change. FFXIV is an "RPGMMO". Rotation is meant to be simple and doable on controllers, we are lucky if a job is easy to play and hard to master. Yes, FFXIV raids are dance dance revolution, most rotations are simple but with key decisions that will impact your overall DPS, making decisions while paying attention to boss mechanics is what makes it hard.

Hrothgar customization
Yes, they fucked that up, they said they would fix but they have never taken it seriously. Specially for Hrothgar, which is probably 3% of the population.
If you are a refugee, it's like people are complaining about the lack of love for Mechagnome's customizations.

Toxic positivity
No, FFXIV forums/reddit can also be a shit show. We are not mindless Yoshi-P minions.

I daresay people are free to post whatever they so wish so long as it adheres to the forum's code of conduct. I don't think we need posters dictating what can and cannot be addressed as a conversation point, especially when your personal opinion is not shared by every player and everybody is free to advocate for whatever changes they so desire.

I'd suggest simply agreeing to disagree instead of trying to control the narratives around these parts.

Seeing as how they can't seem to fix anything and want us to deal with it, I am pretty sure Oglaf is actually one of the lead developers.

And what do you mean by "anything"?

Housing? They implemented the lottery.
PvP? They just reworked from scratch.
Healer is boring? They rework healers almost every expansion.
SAM? They reworked the job because band-aid fixes weren't working, but the job lost it's identity along the process. Same happened with MCH and AST.

We've had a bit too much of the "at least they tried" recently, and not enough of the "wow, they did a good job"

Thank you for this thread. I know the housing thing is making many rowdy but I kind of want one big forum for all of the data people are sharing about who is encountering the bug to get a better idea of what could have caused it. I just need a few bits more data to form a complete theory that isn't just conjecture. I originally assumed and well it is still a problem that 0 is considered a entry but now I am finding out this could be due to the entries before the hotfix not being ported over after the hotfix, though this is not happening to everyone. There is also an issue people are reporting about not getting their refund after losing a bid. I wish there were one thread for theory crafting, one for venting frustration, and one for 'yes this happened to me here are my screen caps'. Sometimes it make my mind spin trying to relocate a similar thread I was following because they all have the same thing being talked about @_@

A single large thread is more likely to be read by someone that matters than 100 little ones made over the same thing. And the Issue is more likely to be ignored entirely if the majority of the OPs of those little threads do nothing more than insult the developers in their first post or in the actual thread title.

6 YEARS!!!!!6 years of Player feedback regarding the fact that Healing has become so braindead easy to play that they can now program NPCs to do, WHILE ALSO GIVING THOSE NPCS MORE SKILLS THAN ACTUAL PLAYERS!!!!!!!! Every Aero 3, Stoneskin, etc that I see an NPC do is another slap in the face of healers because their BS nonsense about not wanting to pressure Healers to DPS, which is directly contradicted by the game at every interval telling Healers that "There's a time to heal and there's a time to Deal Damage". NPC healers do damage, the Hall of the Novice tells you to do damage, Savage Raids at minimum ilvl are mathematically impossible to clear UNLESS the Healer is doing damage. And yet, every expansion, the role is dumbed down to do the exact opposite of that, by taking away damage options and instead showering us in Healing abilities that we don't need. "Oh, they want to make Healing more accessible", and people have given feedback on how to do that too by simply giving healers more of their toolkit at lower levels. You've done it with every single other job in this game but that oversaturated healing toolkit? Yeah, let's completely backload all that because that somehow, in some unimaginable way, would be too much pressure for a new healer to understand why they were given this skill at a reasonable level. I can't have my free Medica until level 76 because I clearly need 24 levels after unlocking Solace in order to figure out how to use an AoE heal, despite having Medica since level 15. I can't have a low level version of Temperance, despite WHM having Divine Seal up until SB turning it into a Role Action called Largesse and then just completely got rid of that too. Why is Fey Blessing a level 76 skill? I've been using Whispering Dawn since level 20 but a flat (and weak) up front heal is something that needs to be backlogged until 76? WHM and AST used to have Shielding capabilities as early as level 50 (With Stoneskin1+2 and Noct Sect) so is there a reason that Divine Bension and Celestial Intersection are level 66/74? But I'm supposed to be happy because the Devs are "trying", right?

It doesn't sound like they're trying. It sounds like they're half assing it and with the increasing number of problems, with job adjustments, housing, Hrothgar hairstyles, etc. It feels like they're extending that treatment to other parts of the game as well now.

This is the first time i've seen someone that thinks he can say what kind of thread the community can create.

Oglaf thinks that Healers are fun, so we can't create a new thread about it.
Do you think Dungeons are getting boring in this game? I'm sorry, Oglaf thinks they are fine so you better don't create a new thread.
