Ive had nothing but issues since this latest patch update. I was continually being booted from cutscenes which I eventually had to disable directx11 on the launcher just to get through. Got to "Void Theory" and now I cannot go any further because if I have directx 11 disabled in the launcher I get booted with a directx11 error but if i do have it enabled i get a ffxiv.exe error ... so it will not even let me move past.
Then I went to log back in and now im getting "unable to download patch files ffxiv 11003" when I was just on it less than 5 mins before hand. Everything on my pc is updated, Ive verified my steam files and had no errors, ive done all I can think of and im at my whits end. So now aswell as not being able to finish the msq I cant even log in.

All steps taken to resolve the issue: So far ive verified Steam countless times with no errors, repaired my game, reinstalled my game countless times and it was still happening, checked all drivers and updates were current which they were, ran the launcher in DX9 which worked for abit but now it doesnt at all, i also get booted when i watch the new msq cutscenes in the unending journey and its ONLY the new ones. It only happens with the new MSQ since 6.1 dropped it never happened before and it doesnt happen with any other quest or part of the game its just the new MSQ -

Hi,sorry for the delay in response but these are the errors i keep getting when i get booted out of game and it is now doing the exact same thing on my alt char at the exact same cutscenes. And yes i have reinstalled both Steam and FFXIV and clearly it didnt fix it. I shouldnt have to swap between my PS4 version and my Steam version just to get through an MSQ cutscene. Ive never had ANY issues before with anything. Again its only happening on certain 6.1 MSQ cutscenes, again ive had no issues with previous MSQ cutscenes from any expansion only this recent one. Also if i try and watch the cutscenes again on the Unending Journey it will again crash on the exact same cutscenes. I would really like to find a fix for this as i said im sick of having to swap between PS4 and Steam just to get past a cutscene

The top error happens when i try to watch a cutscene running Direct X 9 giving me the Direct X 11 error, the second error i get when i watch the cutscenes with Direct X 11 and it just gives me a FFXIV.exe error and sometimes i wont even get an error and the game will just instantly close
Here is a breakdown of what cutscenes I crash on and it happens with both my main and my alt on the exact same ones, as to why I still do, i do not know. I do not have any issues with any of the other new content, the Aglaia Raid cutscenes, Hildy Cutscenes and every other new dungeon cutscene are fine its just the ones ive listed below that either boots me out with no error or I get the error i posted above

Just went through the MSQ with my other Alt and it does the eact same thing again. All 3 chars have the same issue, still waiting for some reason as to why this is happening and after a fix

Had a simular issue. Seems your DirectX are the problems. Unfortunately It seems Windows doesnt let you uninstall and reinstall them. I had to format the PC and reinstall everything. Never had the same problem since then (like a month ago)..
