So, what does this mean for Garo?

They put up a page for the Garo event:

However it says:

Does this mean they didn't add new weapons for those 6 jobs?

It's also weird you still have to go to Jonathas to pick up mounts.

That would suck.

Was looking forward to seeing what new glam options sage got in the new patch, but that does make it sound like they just decided not to give us any, despite how little options sge and rpr have atm.

That really hurts to see, was really looking forward to see what the weapons would look like. So I guess for me I only need the GNB and RPR armor to complete the event as I already got all the other armor sets from the old event.
This feels really half-assed when the last Yokai Watch not only got a new mount, but also new weapons up to SHB jobs.

Just checked the new gear for GNB and RPR. It's directly copies of old gear. GNB uses the BRD armor while RPR uses MNK armor. Insanely lazy "event" that took them all 5 mins to update.

Wow! This is worse than if they had just added RPR and GNB to other sets! Even more "unique" items that look exactly the same. There are now 6 "different" job locked versions of the exact same shorts!

It's hugely dissapointing to see the lack of care this event has recieved. After seeing the Yo-kai event be updated (granted it took a fair while), to include the new jobs up until Shadowbringers, seeing them announce the return of the Garo event only to give people literally 0 new things is just feels like a lack of care went into this. Does anyone know where would be the best place to try and feed this back? Because otherwise this "event", if you can even call it that, is just useless.

It's almost like this entire expansion has been INCREDIBLY lazy with gear sets. Almost all of the sets we get during EW are reskins of older gear. Now this.

It's pathetic.

So it would seem. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Crystalline Conflict gear available from the vendor? Shadowbringers AF gear recolors. And some older sets as well, but hardly new gear by any means. The weapons are unique but the armors are not. I thought that I couldn't feel any more disrespected, but now they are practically insulting my intelligence and they aren't even trying to hide it anymore.

Well, we can be happy to even get the garo event back.
It probably was not easy to even get the basic things back.
Yet alone to be allowed to do that Collab again.

At the end of the old Garo event, they expect it to never return and therefore they put the invisible shield as MGP reward.

We now got it back, probably with the condition that they are not allowed to spend additional work/money for it.
It is a collaboration and the business partner (garo) has much to say about things the can and cannot do. That is nothing that the devs can directly decided.

Sorry bud but we're not talking about the Garo gear (even though that also didn't get class specific stuff but w/e) We are talking about the new pvp mode gear, it's just a reskin of shadowbringers stuff.

The devs are officially on Cruise Control. They know they'll make money regardless. That type of arrogance is what is killing WoW.

It would have been fine if they just brought it back. They bring back crossovers with zero changes a lot. My feeling is always, it would be nice if there were something new, but at least the people who missed it get chance to do it.

But they said there would be new gear sets. Didn't even get a recolor!
